Then what’s the new covenant that YOU referenced?

I'd say this:

And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (II Corinthians 3:3-18)

And I would say this:

Jeremiah 31
33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ezekiel 11
19And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Ezekiel 36
26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Hebrews 8
10For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.

This is the new covenant that Christians are now inheritors of.

So, for maybe the 100th time I ask.....WHAT LAWS?

Haven't the JW's embarrassed themselves enough already with their prophecies that do not come true?

The Jehovah’s Witnesses have quietly abandoned a prediction that people alive in 1914 would live to see Christ’s kingdom on earth--a major doctrine that lent urgency to the sect’s door-to-door warnings that a bloody end of the world is imminent.

You're not going to get it in your current state, Phil. It is being shown to you repeatedly yet you do not discern it as you play gotcha trying to support your cult's works based religion.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Inverting a well worn phrase of the 70’s and 80’s: “I subscribe to it just for the articles.”; I am scrolling thru all of this na-na-na-na-na-nah stuff, just for the pictures.

Since I’ve only seen one, there is not much reason to continue in this thread.

There is more to this thread than you have discerned by assuming you know it all since this is a similar thread to several posted previously.

exactly... the scripture is clear that " no one knows the day or hour..." Matt 24:36.... but back up to verse 32/33 in that same chapter...

"....32Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near. 33.So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door. 34Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.…

Definitely implies that God is giving us signs to watch for His Coming...

NO we are not to guess days, even hours, etc...but be READY .. I do believe we are very close to the return of our Lord Jesus.

Doesn't say we can't guess...It just says we can't know...And someone could get lucky and guess right...But that's all it is, is a guess...

How many times does someone have to explain to you that the Gentiles are NOT the House of Israel??? This, I think, is the source of your confusion. God isn't done with the Jewish people yet. Christians are the Bride of Christ. The House of Israel is currently the divorced wife of Jehovah/Yahweh who in the end times He promised to take back again. From The Wife of Jehovah and the Bride of Messiah:

The Jewish prophets did not leave things hopeless. They spoke of a coming day when Israel will again become the restored Wife of Jehovah. This will require a brand-new marriage contract, which is found in Jeremiah 31:31-34. What is often known as the new covenant is in many respects a new marriage contract that God will make with both the houses of Israel and Judah. This new covenant of marriage will be necessary because the old marriage covenant was broken. This remarriage contract is also described in Ezekiel 16:60-63. According to Ezekiel, God will enter into an everlasting covenant with Israel in the future.

The restoration of Israel as Jehovah's Wife is also described in Isaiah 54:1-8, and the remarriage is further described in Isaiah 62:4-5. Hosea, who had much to say about the adulteries of Israel, also spoke of Israel's reunion with her husband. Hosea 2:14-23 describes the courtship and the wooing in the wilderness and shows the four results of this reunion.

I think something that is just not sinking into Phil's mind is NOBODY is saying Christians can or should live ungodly sinful lives because they are saved by grace and not works. That is the common accusation most works-based religions make - it was something the Apostle Paul was slammed with, too. But just like he explained, our good works cannot save us, keep us saved or make us in the least bit worthy of God's grace - that's WHY it is by grace. The born again child of God will be disciplined by the Father and continuously undergoing sanctification. Jesus has promised that of all that the Father gives Him he would lose NOTHING, He will never cast us out and we shall never perish but have eternal life. The indwelling Holy Spirit by whom we are sealed until the day of our redemption moves us towards holiness, convicts us of sin and brings us to repentance. Some are further along their path than others, some are more stubborn, some are more submissive just like children are, but God is at work within each one of us conforming us into the image of Christ. If we truly are walking by faith, loving the Lord and being grateful for what He has done for us, we WILL be obedient children. Though we may stumble and fail at times, He is always drawing us back to Him ready to forgive us and restore us to fellowship. But one thing is sure - our good deeds, holy lives or acts of obedience are never part of the salvation equation. The second we start thinking we must add to Christ's righteousness, we stop trusting in Him, we fall from grace.

We cannot know the state of another's soul nor their innermost relationship with God. Only God sees the heart - we can only look on the outward appearance which is why we are told to not pass judgement on someone else's eternal destiny.

"A prince, while he is a little child, is presumably as willful and as ignorant as other little children. Sometimes he may be very obedient and teachable and affectionate, and then he is happy and approved. At other times he may be unruly, self-willed, and disobedient, and then he is unhappy, and perhaps is chastised—but he is just as much a prince on the one day as on the other. It may be hoped that, as time goes on, he will learn to bring himself into willing and affectionate subjection to every right way, and then he will be more princely, but not more really a prince. He was born a prince" (C.I.Scofield, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth).

Many of the House of Israel became Christians.
Christianity itself is a sect of 2nd temple Judaism.

What we call Judaism today is a sister sect of Christianity. The proper term is rabbinical Judaism which has the Talmud and Halacha in lieu of the New testament.

There is no more Jew nor Greek.

Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hossa wrote of the return from Babylon and that restoration.

The 2nd temple was built after those prophets prophesied.

Btw the 2nd temple was completed by an Edomite

Iskuhl you quoted Ezekiel 36.26 “ye shall dwell in the land I gave to your fathers”
Ezekiel was written at the time when Nebuchadnezzar sacked Jerusalem, destroyed the temple and started the babylonian exile.

Ezekiels audience was those outside their land. His prophecy came true in the 400s BC when his audience returned to their land and set up independent politics.

The Jews had the Hasmonean and then Herodian kingdoms of the Jews.

And Jews have continually dwelt in that land since 1400 BC

Sure there is...In Israel there are millions of Jews...And in Rome there are countless Greeks...

It is only in Jesus Christ where there are no Jews or Greeks...We are all one...

Jews have continually dwelt in that land since 1400 BC

Even after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD as Jesus foretold in the Olivet discourse, as Daniel prophesied and as John envisioned. Even after that destruction, Jews continued living in Israel.

After the Bar Kochkba revolt of 130 to 132. Wait, DURING the Bar kochkba revolt, there was a brief Jewish kingdom under their Mess9, Simon Bar kochkba.

After the revolt was crushed, News stilo live in village and towns in Israel.

And the Samaritans continued living around mount Gerizim.

Jews were noted as living in the region by travellers throughout the middle ages.

Briefly under Emperor Julian, they were invited back to Jerusalem, ie Aelia Capitolina.

And, Jews were IN Jerusalem when the Arabs conquered it, as they were noted in aiding the Arabs (probably under the misconception that these semites were a variant of their faith)
There were Jews in Jerusalem continually from the time of the Arab conquests.

And, in the 1800s, due to Aliyah, Jews were the plurality in the ottoman province of Israel.

So your statement is historically false.
