I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Oh Lord Almighty, our Pure and Holy Lord, we thank You for the invitation to serve You, to sing praises to You, to share our burdens and to share our joy. We thank You for receiving our prayers, in the name of Jesus Christ, the only Son of the True and Living God. And in His name we do pray.
Beautiful and Holy One, we lift up the leadership of this nation. As they persecute President Trump and trample our Constitution, they deem themselves to be gods, at great peril to their souls and to this Republic. Lord, we stand in the gap, and petition Thee to call out those who are not destined for Your wrath.
When the righteous turns from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it. Ezekiel 33:18
Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of his fury will fail. Proverbs 22:8
Do you really speak righteously, you mighty ones? Do you judge people fairly? No, you practice injustice in your hearts; with your hands you weigh out violence in the land. Psalm 58
