Pope Francis met with representatives of Catholic News Service at the Vatican. The media agency has been providing news to the English-speaking world for the past 100 years.
The pope reminded them of the media's responsibility to overcome divisions rather than fuel sensationalism and scandal.

“I think this way. You think that way. We can discuss it, but with the same heart. Support unity. Don't favor division, because journalism has four main sins. FLASH Don't forget these four sins: disinformation, calumny, defamation and coprophilia.”
He also praised the work of the Church in the United States, calling it courageous, generous and humble.

“It welcomes immigrants, and what the Church does for immigrants is huge, no? It's generous, because the Church in the United States has many economic possibilities, and it gives aid generously. FLASH The Church [in the U.S.] is very alive, very very alive. There are perhaps traditionalist groups, but we have those here in the Vatican too. This can be healed.”
He also joked about his recent painful episodes of sciatica, for which the doctor recommended he cancel his attendance at several important events.
“[The doctor] said, 'But go to the Angelus so they don't say you're dead.”
After their conversation, CNS representatives gave the pope this compilation of his own prayers and the “Council Daybook,” prepared by the CNS covering the Second Vatican Council.

Coprophelia? I had to look that one up. I don’t see too much media having to do with feces but maybe it has other meanings. I think that word is in the ballpark but not the right word. It’s the media’s broader prurient interests - the bikini shots etc, when there is no real story and it’s just used to make money... And these days, a lot of “media” is self-promotion on the various platforms.
Not to nitpick but calumny includes disinformation and slander.

UNity means SUBMISSION. Unity is a code word for submitting to socialism, a body politic very much supported by this Pope, in the name of the Blather , Bun, and the Holy Boast.
I much prefer reading the speech of our Pope,Samuel Adams, speaking at the State House in Philadelphia on August 1st, 1776 :

The left has done a pretty good job using euphemisms and changing definitions of words.
They no longer talk much about equality, instead using the word equity. They'll use the word racism to describe anything that they think offends some identity. Reproductive rights means abortion (nobody really disputes a woman's right to "reproduce"). Gun control doesn't have anything to do with the safe handling of weapons... and so on.
What is he Pope of again? The Democrat Party?
