Fr. Mark Goring on Biden, Catholicism, and abortion-tainted vaccines

Fr. Mark said that Joe Biden is not a Catholic in good standing with the Church.

January 28, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Fr. Mark Goring is a member of the Companions of the Cross, a great charismatic Catholic order. He joined me on my podcast today to talk about President Joe Biden and his Catholic “faith.” We also discussed COVID-19 and vaccinations.

“It’s an unfortunate tragedy and scandal,” Father told me, “that there’s a Catholic president. We want him to be standing for Catholic truths [but instead] he’s pushing for the expansion of abortion. We [also] know that he doesn’t uphold the Catholic understanding … of marriage.”

“It's just so discouraging. It’s heartbreaking that he’s not standing up for these these Catholic values, these Catholic truths. It causes my head to spin … how can we be calling him a Catholic?”

Father Goring is popular on YouTube where his videos (click here to watch them) often receive hundreds of thousands of views. He recently did an amazing interview with His Excellency Bishop Athanasius Schneider.

I asked Father for his thoughts on whether Joe Biden should be denied Communion. He told me that if someone is involved in public scandal, they need to repent publicly before you can give them Holy Communion.

“When a Catholic politician is aggressively expanding abortion and seeing to it that the United States funds abortions in other countries and things like that, to me it’s scandalous. It’s an embarrassment to the Catholic Church.”

Father was clear in saying that we “shouldn’t throw stones” at Joe Biden and other liberal Catholics who disregard the Church’s moral teachings, but, he remarked, “we’re not helping anybody by pretending there’s nothing wrong … he is not a Catholic in good standing.”

Regarding the coronavirus vaccine, Father said that he would be “very nervous about taking a rushed vaccine.” He also said that “many of the vaccines are tainted in some way by abortion.”

“It’s foolish to put all of our hope in the pharmaceutical companies to fix the world’s problems,” he told me. “We’ve turned away from God … that’s the problem. It’s not, you know, the latest virus or whatever else. Mankind needs to turn back to God and repent.”

“I think we’re living in apocalyptic times,” Father said at the end of our conversation today. “I think that we’re going to experience possibly more hardships in this world because of how far we’re drifting away from God. And so it really is a time to call people to to repentance … we need to get ready for when things get a lot worse before they get better. I hope I’m wrong. I really hope I’m wrong on this one.”

Mat_24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.

Folks, read it slowly and let your lips move.

The false prophets sound so good that everyone, including me, is inclined to follow them.

There is only one thing that stops me from following the false prophets. What is it?

Yes, this fits perfectly. An abortion on demand, paid for by taxpayers-President is not speaking for God.

I say it all the time. Trump’s ‘love of life’ and love for the unborn is why they (satan followers) hate him SO MUCH.

There is one thing that the Democrat Party has no shortage of, and that is hypocrisy. A person could drive themselves mad contemplating Democrat hypocrisy.

And it is independent of any value or moral judgments. I'm speaking of blatant contradictions in the mathematical or philosplical sense, contradictions which would cause you to fail in any other aspect of your life.

I truly hope the number of Catholic leaders at all levels who honestly believe Biden is a practicing “Catholic” is small. They should recognize Biden and his ad creators used his Rosary as a prop, his religion as a political vote magnet for the unwary and that he is as much a pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia politician as Pelosi or Sanders and AOC.

Like a candidate who goes to Iowa and gets before a photo-op set of TV cameras and eats a cob of corn, grins and says “I just love that Iowa sweet corn, mmmm”, then puts on a UAW t-shirt and cap , goes to an auto plant in Ohio and pretends to be a worker who just happened to run for office.

Disrespect for the core Catholic value of respect for human life from the pre-born to the ailing elderly is a sure sign Biden is crassly using Catholicism as a virtue signaling prop.

“Abortion tainted” is a vague and non-scientific term. The new vaccines do not contain any substance from aborted babies. However, in testing the vaccines, aborted stem lines were used. Does this mean there’s a moral imperative not to take the vaccine?

It's not meant to be a "scientific term"; it's a moral term and fits the development of these vaccines. The end does not justify the means.

"Rape" is also not a scientific word and it, too, is immoral.

Unfortunately that ship ("abortion tainted") sailed with the R part of the MMR vaccine.

Having said that, there are many reasons to refuse this vaccine.
