Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

LORD, we thank You, for Your mercies are new every morning! As the first month of the new year draws to a close, and we approach the season of Lent - I pray that each intercessor here continues onward, ever renewed in mind and heart, and revived with vision and purpose! Your plans for us are for good, and not for evil. And Your plans for America are for GOOD and not for evil! 

You are the GOD of miracles, signs, and wonders. And we long to see a vast display of Your glory envelop the land and awaken all out of slumber! And yet...when You revealed Yourself to Elijah - You did not do so with a mighty wind, or through an earthquake...Nor a fire...But in a still, small voice. 

And even as worldly powers seek to silence Your servants, the people of GOD. They cannot silence YOU. And I pray for a fresh revelation of Your Spirit as You speak to us IN THE SILENCE. As you speak to President Trump in the silence! And to everyone else who has had their communication platforms removed or compromised...May we ALL utilize this opportunity to draw nearer to You, and to anchor ourselves more firmly in Your Word. 

We also ask that You speak into the souls of President Biden, Vice President Harris, and all who are in authority. If today they hear Your voice, may they harden not their hearts...

LORD, I'm reminded that true revival -- one that actually lasts -- does not begin with a clanging cymbal, but with a whisper. Not with the sound and fury of a frenzied crowd, but with each of us individually...One penitent heart at a time. One Samaritan act of humility and grace at a time. As we love. As we *forgive* one neighbor at a time. Often in secret. Often through much pain and resistance. And herein lay the most dramatic miracles of healing...Again Your power is often most at work when there is little to no fanfare. The healing of our land begins with each of us.

We long to see prophecies fulfilled before our eyes, but we are reminded that we can only prophesy in part..."And where there are prophecies, they will cease! Where there are tongues, they will be stilled. Where there is knowledge, they will pass away..."  (1 Cor 13:8)  In the end, only Your love remains. May living more fully in Your Love, be our heart's utmost desire. 

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols," warned St. John. Please free us from the grip of idols, even "good" idols, as it can be easy to value gifts above the Giver. May our hearts be set on eternity, as we seek first Your kingdom and store up our treasures in Heaven, not on earth. 

January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. May we each take a pause to remember all the lives lost, all the lessons learned, and all the lessons yet to be learned...

Please say prayers for my grieving family. My beautiful wife passed away shockingly on Sunday. She was Susan Kardos-Cirba, and I loved her with all my heart. Her obit was in the Scranton Times on 1/26. She was a great patriot, and a political comrade in arms. Pro-life lover of President Trump. You all would have loved her. Thank you!
