Gotta ask it: Is the Pope Catholic?

IOW, there is no point in being Catholic b/c modern Catholicism is no longer Catholic.

Looks like they skipped Vatican 3 and went straight to, what, Vatican 21?

So now women can officially serve as acolytes and lectors at Mass for all of 20 masked people sitting six feet apart? Deck chairs on the Titanic.

Pope Francis is evil and a heretic. Little by little he is taking down all the tenets of the Catholic Church. Let’s hope God steps in and ends what he is doing. Pray!

I’m a lector at my parish. I am NOT on the path to priesthood. The question for me is, will formal installation now be expected for lector’s and acolytes, or merely an option. Like, there are formally trained catechists, and there are folks who sign up to teach religious Ed to kids on Monday afternoons. You don’t have to be a Catechist, but can be if you want.
