SNow, let me get this straight. Some guy in England wants everyone to think that the forgiveness and redemption offered by the Lord Yeshua is somehow a bad and evil thing?

The twisted logic to come to this conclusion is so amazingly… I don’t even have words for it. Some people just love to listen to satan.

All I needed to know:

“That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

A few years back on some FB discussion I read the comment of one of the internet atheists and decided to check out his page. On it, he had a post that said, “I prefer to be on my knees before some hot guy than before an unjust and hateful god.”

I think that sexual sin is one of main sources for the rejection of God, and therefore is a big deal. I think a lot of these people know they are under judgment, but it would be too much to repent. Now, having said that, I would also say that is also true for any strong, compelling inclination that causes us to sin.

Both Chalke and Ozanne have criticised churches for teaching LGBT people that their desires “are ‘sinful’”.

I’ve heard it said that it isn’t the attraction that is sinful, but the action.

We are all attracted to sin in one form or another. Some of us would, left to our own devices, speed, steal, cheat on our taxes, cheat on our spouses, lie, lust, hate - the list goes on and on. But we have God’s morality etched into our consciences; that alone keeps us from going off the deep end of selfish behaviors of many kinds.

And none of us are perfect. Even the Apostle Paul struggled with sin, and elsewhere, acknowledges that he fails to do right even when he knows it, and does wrong even when he knows it’s wrong.

God knows that we can’t be perfect all the time, so He provided a solution to our sin problem that doesn’t rely on our efforts. God came to earth as a man, lived a sinless life, allowed himself to be killed to pay the penalty for our sins. In rising from the dead, He showed that sin has been conquered once and for all, and all we need do is to acknowledge that truth and put Him first in our lives. (I’ve stated that badly, I know, but...)

So, forgiveness and redemption are “insidious”. Sad, particularly from someone in such dire need of forgiveness and redemption.

Fred should know that God stands ready to forgive and redeem, provided there is repentance for his/sins, an attitude of sorrow for committing the sin, and acceptance of God’s redeeming grace through Jesus Christ.

I ran across a quote a couple of years back:

Those who are hardest to love need love the most.

So true. I experienced that with a son who is now a recovering meth addict. He has been clean over two years now. There is hope with God.

How about that attempt to leave a birth certificate sex, blank, for the kid to fill in later?

And they say ‘they are born that way’, it’s not a choice??

Basing a political movement on ‘sexual hole of choice’ is silly, stupid and might not even get past white trash ‘elites’ at Harvard...

Christian forgiveness and redemption are ‘code for conversion therapy’ Indeed. Thank God. But it is really not therapy - though counsel can be needed - but conversion. But since Christian forgiveness and redemption are also code for repentance from idolatry, disrespect of parents and valid authority, murder, fornication, adultery, theft, envy, etc., then as proxy servants for the devil liberals oppose the Lord Jesus. https://peacebyjesuscom.blogspot.com/2020/03/the-big-picture-who-is-really-running.html

Here's a thought:

Most homosexuals were sexually abused as children.

So providing those victims with the the proper care is RAPE THERAPY.

These perverts are banning Rape Therapy!

It also called for the law to prevent trans people who regret changing sex getting help to detransition.

Unstinking real.

They are free to transition but not free to transition back.

So much wrong with that picture.

“Both Chalke and Ozanne have criticised churches for teaching LGBT people that their desires “are ‘sinful’”. Ozanne called it a “harmful practice” that ‘can’t be allowed to continue’.”

There you have it. They believe anyone who disagrees with them should not be allowed to exist.
