The Holy Spirit is in the business of teaching "all Christians," as you rightly declare, to trust His Word and His counsel for every decision. Trusting Him and acting on that trust is what we will do all day, every day in the Millenial Kingdom and in heaven, so He is getting us ready. It's not unlike Basic Training, preparing soldiers before sending them into battle.
I will indeed take a look at both. I am interested in the thoughts of anyone who is allowing the Holy Spirit to edify them and others through them.
Then you will be interested in an article I wrote on Jacobs prophetic blessing on Judah
Especially the part where he prophesied that The scepter will not leave Judah until Shilo Comes.
I’ll have to text message it to you since I took it down
I was advised tootsie it down because I plan on writing a book on it
I guess there are some unscrupulous publishers who look fir ideas to pass onto well known writers to get good book sales
Do I removed it
But if you are interested I will actually send you a drop boxe link for you to read it
It’s an article I actually added to do as to make it a teaser fir an editor friend
I have a couple very good theological scholars and a few pastors who suggested I expound on it fir a book
Let me know if you are interested
I am guessing you will be
Sure—I’m a sucker for the Spirit’s insights into the Scriptures, by every means He employs.
You have a pm
Your fruitless search for any other treatment of your premise reminds me of my astonishment, when I was researching my book, that no one seemed to have addressed an important and obvious question.
Dan
Yes, I have information that would shed light on the idea that Rome controlled the matters of life and death over those in provinces they controlled as a way to have the locals hold Rome up as the supreme authority the local puppet leaders they installed.
Now mind you, the local puppets did execute citizens, but money was always a great briber to appease the Roman governors, so Rome itself seldom interfered. After all, the religious leaders wanted to ambush and murder Paul. They would have had not his nephew warned the Roman Governor.
Plus years later they executed James. From what my investigation showed was that they did so at a time that Judea was between Pro-councils, thus there was a void of legal Roman authority for a period of time that the Religious leaders took advantage of.
However, the very act that states Rome removed the right of capital punishment is all that was needed to assure the prophecy would be fulfilled.
The sentence would have read,
“”controlled as a way to have the locals hold Rome up as the supreme authority over and above that of the the local puppet leaders they installed.
Probably my favorite king after David. I loved his pure heart.
Dennis is a perfect exemplar of the person who does not dispute the facts of the Gospel but cannot believe because of emotional baggage. He has a vast knowledge of matters biblical--he's lent me a dozen videos presenting historic accounts--but his parents' off-putting harangues still stumble him at 74. But he didn't account for the Holy Spirit sending me to clear his road.
That is far from a rigorous proof, but it is probably satisfactory for the moment. Any reputable publisher would demand much more.
Yes I would be setting it up with substantial information
Since it is an integral part of my theory. I would need at least a chapter to properly set the stage. Especially since I will be using mostly secular evidence to prove that portion of the prophecy
That was my thought.
