No, I would work to get them water.
"Is the Pope Catholic?" is no longer a rhetorical flourish--it is a legitimate question.

Here is what I know, and this is not imagined:
All men are created equal, that they are endowed by God with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Please.
Socialism promotes ingratitude and thus unhappiness - and Bergoglio will say nothing against that.
The people who oppose socialism oppose selfishness in themselves - and are far more likely to donate more of the money the Lord has made them stewards of than socialists would.

I don’t recall previous popes lecturing us on every little thing. Those guys usually kept to the big (religious) picture.
So I wonder what’s next. Maybe Francis will tell us which streaming movie service we must buy. Or maybe which shoe we should put on first.

There's an even better quote from the same book on abcnews:
https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/pope-francis-book-explores-george-floyd-virus-skeptics-74358533
Turning to the pandemic, Francis blasted people who protested anti-virus restrictions “as if measures that governments must impose for the good of their people constitute some kind of political assault on autonomy or personal freedom!”
Because "measures" that the government "imposes" can't possibly interfere with personal freedom. Not as long as they are "imposed" "for the good of the people".
