:: The ELCA and 1517 Media do not tolerate sexual misconduct or abuse ::
But it’s OK for men to sodomize each other and play with resultant feces.
And, women can practice ‘sodomy by device’.
That? That’s not misconduct or abuse.
That’s love.
This sounds quite similar to the “Bird” scandal.
Amadeus is not a biography at all, but “Fantasia set to Mozart.” Here’s the sort of liberties they took: Mozart and Salieri were best of friends. Salieri was a happy, family man with 8 kids. Mozart was a devout Catholic, with no historical reason to suggest he was alcoholic or a philanderer. The worst that can be said for his morals was that he was evidently a fan of scatological humor. Fart jokes.
Oh... and Salieri may not be as famous as Mozart today, but his students and imitators include Liszt, Schubert, and yes, Mozart. In his day, he WAS as well known as Mozart.
+1
(eye roll). Play these hysterics some Frank Sinatra until they calm down... oh, wait.
I would appreciate it if you took some time to explain that. Thanks in advance.
Granted, the film takes liberties, as did the book which preceded it.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was, like all of us, someone who struggled with sin.
Romans 7 describes him and, if we are honest, describes us. In spite of sins of the flesh God used Mozart as a channel of grace for some of the finest Western liturgical music composed.
I would place Mozart’s Ave Verum and Requiem at the top of that list.
Ahhh! Thank you.
I hope the investigation is fast and accurate. In 1997, when I attended an ELCA church, near San Diego, some women told the church president that our pastor said, “You look nice.” The women said that was sexual harassment, and he quit.
