Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Lambs, Sheep, and Shepherds
.
Exodus 10
The Plague of Darkness
21 Then the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egyptdarkness that can be felt. 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. 23 No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.
24 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, Go, worship the Lord. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.
25 But Moses said, You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the Lord our God. 26 Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the Lord our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the Lord.
27 But the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he was not willing to let them go. 28 Pharaoh said to Moses, Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die.
29 Just as you say, Moses replied. I will never appear before you again.

Please Join Me In Prayer For The Election to be Counted Fairly and honestly, and to defeat the enemy who would try to enslave us:
Dear Father in Heaven,
I lift up to You our President Donald J. Trump.
I ask that You extend to him Your Mercy and Your Grace.
Give him Saving Faith,
And fill him with Your Holy Spirit.
Endow him with Good health and Youthful Vigor.
Keep him in a state of encouragement and good humor.
Give him a thick skin and a tender heart.
Surround him with truthful and wise counselors,
And Imbue him with supernatural wisdom.
Keep him rested and stress-free even with his busy schedule.
Bless him, his family, his staff, and his supporters with Faith, Hope, and Love.
We pray for a decisive Victory in this Election, and stand against the powers of darkness that would seek to steal it.
In Jesus Name
Amen
Prayer of St. Jude (Jude 1:24-25)

We take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and believe in You, Dear Lord, that You will protect and defend this man whom You have chosen to be our Executive, for such a time as this.

Psalm 94
1 The Lord is a God who avenges.
O God who avenges, shine forth.
2 Rise up, Judge of the earth;
pay back to the proud what they deserve.
3 How long, Lord, will the wicked,
how long will the wicked be jubilant?
4 They pour out arrogant words;
all the evildoers are full of boasting.
5 They crush your people, Lord;
they oppress your inheritance.
6 They slay the widow and the foreigner;
they murder the fatherless.
7 They say, The Lord does not see;
the God of Jacob takes no notice.
8 Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
you fools, when will you become wise?
9 Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge?
11 The Lord knows all human plans;
he knows that they are futile.
12 Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,
the one you teach from your law;
13 you grant them relief from days of trouble,
till a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not reject his people;
he will never forsake his inheritance.
15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,
and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?
Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,
I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 When I said, My foot is slipping,
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.
20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you
a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?
21 The wicked band together against the righteous
and condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the Lord has become my fortress,
and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23 He will repay them for their sins
and destroy them for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will destroy them.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
God Bless America!
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Kind of appropriate for today when it looks like darkness might be settling on this nation for a long time.

Dearest Metmom, I read the same thing into it. But the Darkness in Egypt was for three days...a foreshadowing perhaps of Three Days in the Tomb? And you KNOW what happened after that. Don’t despair! Stay in prayer.
To even take this point a little further, here is what came up in my personal devotional readings this morning (totally random, as you know my reading program):
1. Torah: Exodus 10. Today’s Scripture above: 3 days of darkness.
2. History: 2 Kings 18: The Assyrian Field Commander reads a letter full of fake news to King Hezekiah.
3. Poetry: Psalm 95: A Psalm of Assurance and Trust in God
4: Prophets: Amos 6: This one I will cut and paste because it’s so awesome:
1 Come, let us return to the Lord.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds.
2
After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.
3
Let us acknowledge the Lord;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.
Those were just the OT readings for today. I am not making this up!

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM! And for the Preservation of the Valiant Israeli Nation!
"The Ninth Plague Of Egypt" Illuminated Manuscript William de Brailes c. 1230

ND the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: |
They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.

From your lips to God s ear.
It occurred to me that if Biden should win, this country voted its own judgment on itself.
Gos is merciful but if the people ask for it........

Thank you, Dear Friend.
I don’t believe that many people voted for Biden. Just sayin’.
While a lot of people may have voted democrat, they were voting AGAINST Trump, not FOR Biden.
And then there are all those mysterious ballots that show up in the trunks of cars and grandma’s attic.
Nope. I don’t think America voted for Biden.

If they wanted to vote against Trump, there were other candidates they could have picked.
I agreed that there is massive fraud happening and I am trusting God to protect us from that.
Problem is, enough people voted democrat to give the fraud the numbers needed for it to succeed.

We battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness. Trust in God, not matter how bad it looks, because He is Bigger than all of it.
In the meantime, let’s keep this a Garden of Prayer. I know you are angry, and I am too.
All the more reason to pray, and to be ready for anything that comes along.
