A gunman shot dead by police in Vienna after a rampage that killed four people was identified this morning as an Islamic State sympathiser who had been convicted of belonging to a terrorist group.

Kujtim Fejzulai, 20, was sentenced to 22 months in prison in April 2019 for trying to travel to Syria to join Isis but was released last December under juvenile law.

“He was equipped with a fake explosive belt, an automatic rifle, a handgun and a machete to commit this repugnant attack on innocent citizens,” Karl Nehammer, the Austrian interior minister, said...

If the agents of the State decided to release him because he was a juvenile then his parent/s are responsible. If the State decides the parents are not responsible, then the agents of the State who released him are.

If he was a convicted ISIS supporter, why was he still alive?

Typical Viennese name, eh?
It’s sad though; I think of Vienna as a beautiful city where I thought they were doing better with terrorism than Paris and London.

Study after study has shown that younger Muslims are - in general - more radical than their elders. So this problem isn’t going away. Instead it will only get worse.

Just because he’s muslim and affiliated with isis does NOT make this a terror attack. It’s very possible that it was racism, perhaps he was denied ketchup with his fries at McDonalds of Vienna and it triggered PTSD? “It’s a sad tragedy” regardless.

Why are the young so easily radicalized?

Well, they compare themselves to whites in Europe. The whites have the jobs, the girls, the nice cars and clothes and none of the whites want anything to do with them. So OBVIOUSLY, to them..., the whites are horrible and need to die.

The whites of course, have their own nation, languages, customs, birth right and would just rather the muslimes go back to their own countries and live happily ever or whatever back home. The youngest of Europe are indeed the MOST populist! In Austria the left insisted on lowering the voting age to 16 and guess what? The 16-18 block was majority Populist.

The mosques of course use this, radicalize the youth, and then take money from arab nations to fund these youngsters in the effort to create a safe zone for the invaders.

I’ve also read that the Internet plays a part. Young Muslims now have easy access to vile, radical imams. These imams continually preach that the infidels are evil. So the infidels must convert, or die.
