His Excellency shared his thoughts about Fratelli Tutti with The Remnant Newspaper.
Otober 14, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) Bishop Athanasius Schneider has expressed grief over Pope Francis latest encyclical Fratelli Tutti, noting that it lacks a clearly supernatural horizon, misrepresents St. Francis, and furthers the theological confusion Pope Francis created with his Abu Dhabi statement.
Reflecting on the time of St. Francis where the saint was called by Christ to rebuild the Church, Archbishop Schneider says, Today the Church of Rome finds herself in a similar situation of spiritual collapse, due to the spiritual torpor of a majority of the Shepherds of the Church, the excessive absorption of the Pope himself in temporal affairs, and his efforts to bring about the rebirth of a universal aspiration to a this-worldly and naturalistic fraternity.
In a new interview with The Remnant, Bishop Schneider says, Pope Francis presents St. Francis as though he had been a supporter of the diversity of religions. Rather, the auxiliary Bishop of Astana in Kazakhstan points out, St. Francis was all about converting people to the one true faith. In making his point, Bishop Schneider quotes Pope Pius XIs description of St. Franics as a man who set about personally and commanded his disciples to occupy themselves before everything else with the conversion of the heathen to the Faith and Law of Christ. (emphasis in the original)
Rather than correct the religious relativism that plagued the Popes controversial Abu Dhabi statement, which falsely asserted that the pluralism and the diversity of religions was willed by God in His wisdom, the Pope, according to Bishop Schneider, did not correct Abu Dhabi but solidified it.
It would have been of great benefit had Fratelli Tutti pointed to the need for all men to believe in Jesus Christ, God and Man, in.......

10 So are most Protestant churches. Lets be honest.
"The Descent of the Modernists", by E. J. Pace, first appearing in the book Seven Questions in Dispute by William Jennings Bryan, 1924, New York: Fleming H. Revell Company.
Today it includes affirmation of women's ordination, abortion and homosexual ordination and marriage.
Seven Sisters of American Protestantism
Peddle your apostasy elsewhere. Jesus IS God according to the Holy Spirit that inspired the NT. I hope you find Him before it is too late
Agree whole heartedly. The great falling away is in progress. Fortunately there are some faithful denominations left for believers to worship in.
Do not disagree at all.
However, insofar as the Pope and The Vatican are concerned they exist in a state of apostasy. The Holy Spirit has foresaken them because they have betrayed Christ and God Almighty.
This too shall pass
Well, Joseph Smith added a book, too. See how adding to the original gets you into trouble?
Amen
We "know" this because the "new testament" says so and "everyone knows" the "new testament" is part of the Bible because that's the Bible we inherited from our ethno-cultural group.
G-d would never allow us to inherit a false bible like everyone else has, would He?
And of course we all "know" that the Holy Spirit inspired the "new testament." After all, it's part of the KJV, isn't it?
You apparently have little knowledge of Christianity. The KJV is one of many translations
I also hold your OT as scripture as does Christianity. Painting with a broad brush there but yes ultimately it comes to a matter of faith and knowing you Lord and God
So are most Protestant churches.
Lets be honest.
..........................................
Wrong! ALL protestant churches are by definition apostate.
Nice try. The Roman Church is an idol worshipping apostate organization full of pedophiles and drug fueled homosexual orgies at the highest levels. It is full of extra biblical heretical teachings. There are many apostate protestant organizations and many biblically faithful ones. Each believer is responsible for finding a biblically faithful place to worship. Remaining in an apostate organization is not an option for believers
The KJV is one of many translations

Well with 10,000 protestant sects all howling a different gospel that’s certainly no surprise is it???????
There are not 10,000 protestant sects. However there 10,000 different catholic sects just ask ebb tide - every catholic is an expert at their cafeteria christianity. I get it you hate protestants but we are here to stay and blood bought saints of Jesus Christ. Have a blessed day
Each believer is responsible for finding a biblically faithful place to worship. Remaining in an apostate organization is not an option for believers

You’re funny, also nieve! You pretend not to know that every member of every protestant sect on the planet spouts the same nonsense and smugly announces that he/she is “A RIGHT-THINKING BELIEVER” and, unlike those sinners across the street, HAS FOUND a “biblically faithful” place to worship!
I get it you hate protestants
..........................................
WRONG! I don’t hate protestants and in fact I pray everyday that they will see the heretical errors of their fundamental beliefs before they die and end up in HELL! I also ask God to forgive the unconverted sinners among them because “they no not what they do”! They think they’re already forgiven for sins they’ve not yet committed and are free to sin with impunity. Very sad, but I pray for them everyday!
You have no understanding of protestant belief. Have a blessed week
just ask ebb tide -

Who? Is that some heretic preacher in your church? Never heard of her!
Right from the starting of the Pentateuch, we have God's spirit hovering over the waters - a clear sign that the ineffable God and His spirit are the One God yet distinct.
In truth, the Jesus-movement-judaism i.e. Christianity worships the God of Abraham, Yishaq and Ya'aqov while the Pharisee-Judaism or noahide movement rejects this God and prefers to basically worship the law
