Peddle your apostasy elsewhere. Jesus IS God according to the Holy Spirit that inspired the NT. I hope you find Him before it is too late

Do not disagree at all.
However, insofar as the Pope and The Vatican are concerned they exist in a state of apostasy. The Holy Spirit has foresaken them because they have betrayed Christ and God Almighty.

Well, Joseph Smith added a book, too. See how adding to the original gets you into trouble?

And of course we all "know" that the Holy Spirit inspired the "new testament." After all, it's part of the KJV, isn't it?

Jesus is God according to
1. The book of Daniel which talks of the end of the age in the 1st century AD (70 “sevens”) and where Daniel saw that the anointed one would come and that Jerusalem and the temple would be destroyed, ending sacrifices once and for all

2. The book of Micah and Zakaraiah who prophesied that the Messiah would come

The books of the “old testament” are replete with details about the Messiah, and Jesus fulfilled them.

That is why large numbers (may be even most) Jews of the 2nd temple period became part of the Jesus-movement-Jewish sect and rejected the Pharisees and their Law.

After the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, Jesus was vindicated - He promised in the Olivet discourse and later to the Sanhedrin that THAT generation would see the destruction, the abomination and would see Him coming on the clouds to the Ancient of Days.

The temple was destroyed, but the Pharisee-Jews reinvented their sect into one that wished away the sacrifices in the temple — read about Rabbi Ben Zakkai who reinvented Pharisee-ism.

And to compound it, in AD 70 at the Council of Jamnia, they created their religion, the Pharisee-Judaism, eschewing the sacrifices etc. and editing out books of the Hebrew canon that were used by the Jesus-movement sect.
