The Church of Rome can’t acknowledge the pre-trib rapture because that blows the Purgatory fallacy out of the water. And Cronos, why did you drop your username of Salvation? Needed a reset?

re resurrection, and for that matter “born again”...

Okay I haven’t red through this thread yet, but history (well, for those who accept the NT) teaches that

Elijah returned as a new baby named John.

From a physical perspective, John correctly stated that he was not Elijah.

Jesus said that John was Elijah.

The Elijah who was Elijah appeared at the transfiguration.

People can be resurrected by being born again. John was the spiritual rebirth of Elijah yet this was a physical birth of a brand new baby with a new set of parents. Physical yet spiritual.

I’m just stating what’s in there. It’s an important pattern.

Elijah returns to set things straight.

You mischaracterized by ignoring context the words of Jesus, so you have no credibility, zero integrity.

Escaped it at age 25, when the “scales” we’re removed from my eyes, and the Holy Spirit gave me the necessary discernment.

Big deal. So did Tom Cruise.

So you’re hinting that the scales have not yet fallen from your eyes? ... After the Departure, call upon the Lord ONLY, and do not take the mark when it is commanded to you, Rbb. I want to meet you in Heaven ...

No, I’m a Christian, an old blood bought Christian bound for Heaven by the Grace of God in Christ in Whom I have entrusted my spirit. I would truly like to see you in Heaven, some day, Ebb. If I don’t see you in the clouds on the way up, I hope to see you ate the Wedding Feast.

“He who endures to the end will be saved” (Matt. 24:13)

Since you didn't go at the end you are what?

Well, I will be stepping on some toes, however, Christ said one needed to be born from above... the ‘fallen’ angels refused to be born of woman... they along with the ‘son’ of perdition have already been judged to death.

Taking this flesh journey is the first requirement to ‘see’ the kingdom of God. I cannot find in the Scripture any judged to death of the soul/spirit will be caught up unaware of that end.

I think a study of Elijah is required to understand the ‘spirit’ of Elijah.. and how John came in that spirit... not same individual but were sent to preach the same... Word of the Lord..

the Millennium is a spiritual reign of Christ that has been present in the Church since Pentecost. In other words, the Millennium is an ecclesiastical kingdom, founded at Pentecost.

The book of Revelations is a book filled with numbers as symbols - the “seven spirits” for instance - 7 is the number for completeness. Hence the 7 spirits = the one Holy Spirit of God.

Ditto for 1000 — that is 10 x 10 x 10 and in Hebrew repeating something thrice is for a superlative - hence the Holy, Holy, Holy and also the 6 6 6 = where 6 is 1 less than 7 so incompleteness

the Kingdom is not a thing, it is not a geographical dominion like worldly kingdoms. It is a person; it is he. On this interpretation, the term ‘Kingdom of God’ is itself a veiled Christology. By the way in which he speaks of the Kingdom of God, Jesus leads men to realize the overwhelming fact that in him God himself is present among them, that he is God’s presence.

You say paradise on earth - still sticking earthly material aspects on to the spiritual.

the kingdom of God is in the here and now, present in and through the Church. Yet it is a mixed reality that will only be perfectly realized at the end of history. This current “mixed” state can be seen as the Church on earth which now grows in the field of the world with both weeds and wheat until the harvest when Christ says he will “tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned. But gather the wheat into my barn” (Matt 13:30).

e have been hearing about the Kingdom of Heaven parables in the Gospel of St. Matthew. Although there are parables with this same motif in the other Gospels, we see St. Matthew focusing on the Kingdom of Heaven because he is trying to prove to his audience, Jewish Christians (those who were either converting to Christianity or those who had already converted), that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Davidic and Solomonic Kingdom.

St. Matthew along with the other Gospel writers tells us in their accounts that the Kingdom of God is going to be much different than what they were actually expecting. Most Jews believed that the Messiah would return to reestablish the kingdom that David built, including the reestablishment of the Temple, which Solomon had built. Even in Acts of the Apostles 1:6, the Apostles ask Jesus the question, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” – they were speaking about the Davidic kingdom.

Yet, The Kingdom of heaven was inaugurated on earth by Christ in the form of the Church as the seed and beginning of this kingdom

Jesus invitation to enter his kingdom comes in the forms of parables, a characteristic feature of his teaching. Through his parables he invites people to the feast of the kingdom, but he also asks for a radical choice: to gain the kingdom, one must give everything. Words are not enough; deeds are required. The parables are like mirrors for man: will he be hard soil or good earth for the world? What use has he made of the talents he has received? Jesus and the presence of the kingdom in this world are secretly at the heart of the parables. One must enter the kingdom, that is, become a disciple of Christ, in order to “know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven.” For those who stay, “outside,” everything remains enigmatic.

1 Cor 1 12 thanking God our Father for making us fit to share the light which saints inherit,[2] 13 for rescuing us from the power of darkness, and transferring us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.

RWC LOL! All I have to say about the nonsense you post.

That's because you have no biblical, no historical and definitely nothing from God in the 19th century pre-tribulation fantasy created by Darby.

Since you hold to the non-Biblical pre-Tribulation rapture, then you need to read the Bible as a rapturist is not Biblically literate.

Furthermore, as is clear Syria protects Christians - look at the Christians in Damascus and the rebuilding of Churchs and even the building of a new Hagia Sophia in Syria by Assad

Child rape, abortion, sex-slavery, etc. was the norm before Christ's light entered the world.

The world is now with the Kingdom of God - the Church, as inaugurated in 33 AD, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Apocalypse 6:14-17 --> actually start from verse 12 and compare the symbolism to Isaiah 34 where Edom is told of God's coming judgement "The host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall fall as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree" - Is 34:4

The Message in Apoc 6 is this _ Jerusalem of the 1st century is about to experience the same judgement God leveled against the enemies of His people in the past, because the 1st century Jerusalem has become like them.

Mountains and islands were places of refuge during troubled times. In sayign that these places will be removed, John is telling his readers that there will be no place left to hide. Therefore those who "hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains" will also be judged.

The wording recalls Jesus' warning to the women who stood by weeping for Him as He carried His cross: But jesus turning to them said 'Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming when they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, an the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suckle!' then they will say to the mountains 'Fall on us'; and to the hills 'Cover us'. For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?"

The reference to green wood is saying that the wickedness of the Sanhedrin who killed Him ("in the city where they crucified our Lord, known as Sodom and Gomorrah, the Great Babylon") is nothing compared to the evil state of Jerusalem at the time of destruction in the year 70

I pray that you start to believe and trust in the words of Our Lord and God, Jesus Christ who prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD (within the generation fo those listening to Him in 30 AD) and the coming of His Kingdom - as seen in the signs about the city as noted by Josephus
