Well, God blessed evangelicals with one thing: Great imaginations! Unfortunately, their ability to discern reality and true Bible prophecy seems to diminish in direct proportion.

the Millennium is a spiritual reign of Christ that has been present in the Church since Pentecost. In other words, the Millennium is an ecclesiastical kingdom, founded at Pentecost.

the bulk of the biblical data is rather clearly in the amillennial corner. The Bible continually uses the terms Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven, Messianic Kingdom, and Church interchangeably (Matt. 7:21, 9:35, 16:13–20; Luke 11:20; John 3:15

St. John describes the “Church age” in this passage (20:1–6). This age started with the birth of the Church at Christ’s Passion. Satan was then definitively defeated, but his public “chaining” occurred when the Temple in Jerusalem fell. From this point, Christ reigns with His saints over a worldwide spiritual Kingdom. The blessings of Daniel are being bestowed via the “strong covenant” he predicted (Dan. 9:27). The forces of evil are hampered by God’s restraining of Satan. The saints of the Church Triumphant in Heaven have undergone the first resurrection. By their prayers, they are active in the affairs of the earthbound Church Militant during the entire Millennium.

Dealing with enemies is what reigning entails. Christ does not wait to reign until after complete and total victory. That is how we, the Church Militant, are active in cooperating with the Church Triumphant. Christ “must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet” (1 Cor. 15:25). St. Paul assumed that the overcoming of Christ’s enemies was the main focus of ruling the Kingdom! The battle can be exhilarating when you already know who will win. We are sure Christ will be victor in the end, because He kept His appointment with the Sanhedrin: He judged them within the generation He had predicted.

Imagination is fine, but the pre tribulation rapture fans ignore Jesus’s very clear statement that the destruction of the temple would occur in the lifetimes of those listening to Him.

Anyone who believes the pre tribulation rapture is calling Christ, as the rapturists do, a liar

The temple meant the world to Israel—literally. The temple was the symbol of the world. For Jesus and the people of Israel in His day, then, the destruction of the temple symbolized the end of the age.

That is why Jesus’ sermons on the end of the world are always given in the context of a prediction of the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple. And Jesus was true to His words. In AD 70, about forty years after He ascended back into heaven, Jerusalem and its temple were destroyed. With this event, the ritual order of the Old Testament came to a definitive end.

The temple sacrifice and the Old Testament priesthood were no longer possible. Jesus was right—the end came within one “generation” (Mt. 24:34).

Furthermore, Christians heeded Jesus’ warning: “Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart” (Lk. 21:21). The early Christians escaped from Jerusalem and fled to Pella just before the Roman legions arrived to besiege Jerusalem. Not a single Christian perished.

And so since it’s been about 2,000 years since Christi died and the Temple has been demolished, the thousand year reign of Christ is over, the Battle of Armageddon happened, and Satan has been thrown into the lake of fire and can’t deceive the nations any more.

That sure explains the paradise on earth we are now experiencing, doesn’t it?

Cronos lives in a Millennium ruled by Catholic g-sus where child rape, abortion, sex-slavery, gay marriage, suicide, and war are the part of everyday life.

When you get nothing but copy & paste from a paid propagandist (Russian perhaps?) what else should we expect?

Tye end of the age happeneD, as Jesus foretold it would happen during the lifetime of the generation that heard him in 30 AD, with the 2nd temple having the abomination of Emperor worship sanctioned by The high priest. And the temple was destroyed as seen by john in the book of Revelations

When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate;

What flavor of cool-aid was that which you have consumed?

They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

4 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;

16 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

I pray that on this day you see the folly you have believed.

The *this generation* that Jesus was referring to wa not the one He was talking to. It was the one that was living through the signs He was addressing.

Because when you look at the passage in Matthew 24, it makes no sense for Him to be talking about the Tribulation period, jump back to the present for one sentence/verse, and then address the Tribulation period again.

Because you lack spiritual discernment you do not realize that Jesus was speaking to Jewish men who had asked about the JEWISH end and Messiah’s coming TO THE JEWS in the end. Matthew wrote to Christian JEWS. chapters 23, 24, 2nd 25 were addressed to Israel NOT THE CHURCH. You continue to do your father’s work spreading as much confusion as you can gin up. The Lord rebuke you, son of perdition.

In Matt. 24: 3 the disciples asked Jesus 3 questions. “When will this happen?” referring to the Temple’s destruction, “What will be the sign of your coming?” referring to the 2nd Coming, “And of the End of the Age?” referring to the events leading up to the Kingdom Age.

In Matthew’s account there’s no answer to the first question, only to the last two. Luke began his account the same way as Matthew and Luke 21:8-11 concern the End of the Age. But in Luke 21:12-24, the Lord backed up to answer the first question, so that portion of Luke’s account deals with events leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Then in Luke 21:25-35 He continued with his prophecy about the end of the Age, inserting a final warning to the disciples in verse 36 concerning the first century destruction of Jerusalem.

Once you understand these differences you’ll find the two accounts fit together quite well.

It staggers me that someone could actually believe that the last 2,000 of earth’s history is what it is like to have Jesus rule for 1,000 years.

I guess it happened somewhere where no one was recording history.

I wonder where the Tree of Life is.

Yeah his math is like the liberal relativism of today. 1+1 = 1

Tree of Life?

Revelation 22:1-7

Then he showed me a river of the water of life, [a]clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of [b]the Lamb, 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve [c]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; 4 they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 And there will no longer be any night; and they [d]will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

6 And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

7 “And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who [e]heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Yep. I was a Roman cultist too. But only because I was born into it. Escaped it at age 25, when the “scales” we’re removed from my eyes, and the Holy Spirit gave me the necessary discernment.
