Several people have asked for my opinion on Israels recent peace treaties with the UAE and Bahrain, so this is my effort to put it into writing.
At the Sept. 15, 2020, signing ceremony, Israels Prime Min. Netanyahu said, This peace will eventually expand to include other Arab states, and ultimately, it can end the Arab-Israel conflict once and for all.
These treaties have been called historic, a profound geopolitical shift, stunning, a fundamental reordering of the Middle East, etc.
These treaties are not the 7-year covenant with many that will be confirmed by the Antichrist (Dan. 9:27) and triggers the Tribulation Period, but they are a very significant step in that direction and will eventually lead to people declaring peace and safety in the world (I Thess. 5:3).
A Foreign Policy statement released by the White House on Sept. 15, 2020, even says, The Parties shall be guided in their relations by the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law governing relations among States. In particular, they shall recognize and respect each others sovereignty and right to live in peace and security (the same thing as peace and safety), develop friendly relations of cooperation between them and their peoples, and settle all disputes between them by peaceful means.

A second Foreign Policy statement released by the White House on the same date reads, (The UAE and Israel are) Determined to ensure lasting peace, stability, security and prosperity (the same thing as peace and safety) for both their States and to develop and enhance their dynamic and innovative economies.

A third Foreign Policy statement released by the White House on the same date reads, The parties discussed their shared commitment to advancing peace and security (the same thing as peace and safety) in the Middle East stressing the importance of embracing the vision of the Abraham Accords, widening the circle of peace; recognizing each States right to sovereignty and to live in peace and security, and continuing the efforts to achieve a just, comprehensive, and enduring resolution of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.

Two more nations have now acknowledged Israels right to exist, and more nations will follow suit, but the fact that some nations are willing to make peace with Israel doesnt mean that there are not other nations and groups that want to destroy Israel (peace and safety with many doesnt mean peace and safety with everybody). Many nations have noticed Israels wealth (silver and gold; cattle and goods, etc.). The Arabs want to increase their wealth by negotiating and trading with Israel. Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others want to increase their wealth by plundering Israel (Ezek. 38:11-12). Netanyahu said the peace deals will bring billions of dollars into Israels economy, making the plunder more enticing. The peace treaties (called the Abraham Accords because Arabs and Jews are both descendants of Abraham) suggest that Israel is now safer (as in dwelling safely; Ezek. 38:11). They make an attack by Saudi Arabia less likely; and they make an attack by Russia, Turkey, and Iran more likely, etc. (Ezek. 38:13). The U.S. will sell the UAE and Bahrain more powerful weapons (F-35 jets, high-tech equipment, etc.) that will strengthen the Arab alliance against Iran; be used against Irans allies in Libya, Yemen and other places; and put a greater strain on Irans economy (increasing Irans need for plunder). The peace treaties have caused the PA to feel abandoned and increased the pressure on Israels terrorist enemies (Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc.). The PA can now be expected to do one of two things: 1) Step up their war against Israel (which will fulfill Bible prophecy), or 2) Sit down at the negotiating table (which will result in the 7-year covenant). They will likely go to war first and sit down at the negotiating table later (after their defeat). On Sept. 16, 2020, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman said, The peace treaties between Israel, Bahrain and the UAE mark the beginning of the end of the Israeli-Arab conflict. On Sept. 16, 2020, Jared Kushner, Trumps Advisor and Son-in-Law, said he is very confident that the peace treaties will make an ultimate resolution with the Palestinians more likely. According to the Bible, a worthless treaty with many will be signed by the Antichrist after the Rapture. According to Pres. Trump, the peace treaties allow Muslims to visit the holy sites in Israel (the Temple Mount and more), including the Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israel and the U.S. believe this opens the door for the Temple to be rebuilt. Many prophecy teachers believe the 7-year covenant with many will give Israel permission to rebuild the Temple, and they will quickly do it after the Tribulation Period begins. So, 72 years (about one generation; Matt. 24:32-35) after Israel has become a nation in one day (Isa. 66:7-9) before the Tribulation Period, the nation is rich, possibly on the verge of many peace treaties that are expected to lead to peace and safety in the Middle East, the door to rebuilding the Temple could be starting to open, and Israels enemies (Russia, Turkey, Iran, etc.) are amassing north of Israel just like the Bible says (Ezek. 38:15). We cannot know the day or the hour (Matt. 24:36), but we can see the day approaching (Heb. 10:25) and know when our redemption is near (Luke 21:28). Here are some other things that recently caught my attention:
One, a friend sent this link to me of prophecy teacher Don Stewarts fascinating interview of Dennis Swick, the owner and founder of His Channel TV:
https://hischannel.com/WorldNewsBriefing/1050A5
On Sept. 17, 2020, Swick was interviewed on Stewarts World News Briefing TV program.
About 30 min. into the program, Stewart and Swick started talking about the fact that Elon Musk has been authorized to put up 12,000 satellites into orbit (he wants to increase it to 40,000) to make high-speed Internet and TV service available everywhere on earth.
Many Bible prophecy teachers know that this will literally make it possible for the gospel to go all over the world, for the Antichrist and False Prophet to track all buying and selling, for everyone on earth to see the Antichrist kill the Two Witnesses, to see the bodies of the Two Witnesses laying in the street in Jerusalem, and for everyone on earth to see the Two Witnesses raised from the dead and Raptured into heaven at the middle of the Tribulation Period (Rev. 11).
Stewart wanted to know when this system (called Starlink) will be complete, in five years?
Swick, who receives technical notes from Musk, replied less than that. Some people will go online this year, and the system will be operational in a few years (it just needs to be operational 3 ½ years after the Tribulation Period begins).
Two, a second thing that caught my attention in the Stewart-Swick interview concerns social distancing.
Bill Gates wants to force everyone on earth to be numbered, tattooed with a quantum dot tattoo, and vaccinated for the Coronavirus.
He wants to deny those that refuse the right to hold a job, buy and sell, etc.
The enzyme that activates the quantum dots in Gates vaccine is called Luciferase (Lucifer was Satans name when he fell; Isa. 14:12).
Swick talked about why officials want 7 feet of social distancing (He probably misspoke because it is 6 feet), and he said scanners may misread peoples numbers if the people and their numbers are too close together, but if the people are at least 7 feet (he means 6 feet) apart, the scanners will accurately read the numbers.
I dont know if this is right, but Swick has excellent knowledge of technology, and the media is now reporting that 6 feet of social distancing may not be enough.
Three, on Sept. 17, 2020, Rev. Franklin Graham was talking about what God said will happen, and I think it is important to hear Dr. Grahams opinion.
He was talking about his upcoming Prayer March in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 26, 2020, and he told the Christian Post, I just sense there is something moving in our country. I dont believe that our country is going to be spared from Gods judgment. We are not a Christian nation. We are a secular nation, and the secularists are wanting to strip God out of everything.
Maybe this election could possibly slow that down, but we know theres going to be a one-world system one day. We know that people arent going to be able to buy, sell, or trade unless they have the mark of the Antichrist. We know that there will be a great war.
We see Gods judgment coming against this earth for the rejection of His Son, and we see the Lord Jesus Christ coming back triumphant to establish a new Heaven and a new Earth. We know how the last chapters of history are written.
I think were kind of in that period of time on Gods clock where some of these things might just be beginning to unfold. To say that were not going to be able to reset Gods clock, in the sense where Hes going to change His mind, no, its written. But He might delay just a little bit.
https://www.christianpost.com/news/franklin-graham-ahead-of-national-prayer-march-us-is-crumbling-god-is-only-hope.html
I agree with everything Dr. Graham said: God is still on the throne, and prayer changes things.
By the time this article is posted, the Prayer March will be history, but Christians need to keep praying.
We are in a spiritual battle for the heart and soul of America.
Four, concerning Syria, Russias economy is hurting, Putin is moving more equipment and weapons to Syria, and Russia is becoming more aggressive. This has prompted the U.S. to send 100 troops with vehicles, helicopters and jets back to Syria to protect the oil fields that are under Kurdish control. A U.S. company has just inked a deal with the Kurds to develop the oilfields and sell the crude, and the Russians are very unhappy. Five, concerning natural disasters, several wildfires have now merged, creating the largest California wildfire on record since record-keeping started in 1932, and 83% of the state of Utah is now experiencing an extreme drought emergency.
Six, concerning wickedness, in Chicago, IL, homicides are up 52% over 2019, and the vast majority of those killed are people of color.
Black Lives Matter and defunding the police are about overthrowing the U.S. government, not about protecting or bettering the lives of people of color.
In New York City, homicides are up 27% over 2019; murder, robbery, domestic violence, and other crimes are also up, and the story is similar in other cities.
Now, even before we know who the nominee will be, left-wing activists are threatening violent riots if Pres. Trump and Mitch McConnell try to fill the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Trump and McConnell have not caved, and they have said there will be a nomination and vote.
These things are setting the stage for what God said will happen.
God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
Can you count? there are 7 foederaci here in 500 AD, yet all of them, were foederaci in the Roman Empire - they acknowledged the Roman Emperor in Byzantium as their overlord.
Can't you get this into your head - Rome didn't fall in 476 AD, it didn't collapse them. All that happened was the the entire empire fell once more under ONE Augustus - Emperor Zeno who sat in Constantinople.
-------------------------------------------------------
You must have missed this when I linked to the article
The 1260 Years Begin with the Implementation of Emperor Justinian's Decree Arian Ostrogoths under Theodoric had controlled Italy since 493, and had even imprisoned Pope John I, who died in Ostrogoth custody in Ravenna in 526. Catholic Emperor Justinian, who began waging open war with the Arians in the 530s, declared the Bishop of Rome the head of all Christian churches in 533, and commissioned his General Belisarius to destroy the Arian Vandals and Ostrogoths. The Vandals were defeated in 534 in the battle of Tricamarum. Turning his attention to the Ostrogoths, General Belisarius took Rome in December of 536, and under the direction of Emperor Justinian, deposed and exiled Pope Silverius who had been installed by the last Ostrogoth King of Italy, Theodahad, who had terrorized the clergy into electing his pro-Gothic candidate. Silverius died a prisoner. Belisarius installed Vigilius, a confidant of Empress Theodora, as the Bishop of Rome in March of 537. In quick reply, the Ostrogoths rallied and laid siege to Rome. When the siege was finally broken by General Belisarius in March of 538, the Ostrogoths withdrew from Rome in defeat, leaving it in the Emperor's control, and Vigilius as the Bishop of Rome (who reigned until 555 A.D.). So it was in 538 A.D. that Emperor Justinian's Decree of the supremacy of the Bishop of Rome over the Church could actually be implemented, beginning the prophetic 1260 years of temporal rule by the papacy.
The 1260 Years End with a Head Wound to Papal Power
The "head wound" to papal power was inflicted in 1798 when General Berthier of France captured Pope Pius VI, who soon died in captivity in Valence, on August 29, 1799.
538-1798 = 1260 years of temporal power of the Catholic Church, wherein they tortured and murdered hundreds of millions of people for Heresy, or for being Jews, witches, or what have you, whatever fit their fancy. Murder of the saints was a priority. Wholesale slaughter by the Mother Church. Give me a break. It doesn't surprise me at all that you are a member.
Can’t you get this into your head - Rome didn’t fall in 476 AD, it didn’t collapse them. All that happened was the the entire empire fell once more under ONE Augustus - Emperor Zeno who sat in Constantinople.
WESTERN ROME
there was no collapse - Gibbon's propaganda has been long disproved.
And there were just 7 of those foederati
Now go and learn something before bringing up non-historical statements
The Pope didn't have temporal power in 538 AD of any sort
What are you smoking?
The Papal states date to 754 with the donation of Pepin
And then you cite 1798 - Pope Pius VI was captured, but the papal states were restored after 1812 and Nappy's defeats. They were finally closed in 1871 with the unification of Italy
So neither of your dates make any sense. Neither does your Adventist non-Christian philosophy either, but that's another question, right?
Oh and just for your adventist person as I know that Adventists don’t read the Bible, nor can count, right? 1871-751 = 1120 years, nowhere near your biblically false 1260 YEARS. The Bible says it is 1260 DAYS and doubles down on that by replacing that with 3.5 years or 42 months.
Can’t you get this into your head - Rome didn’t fall in 476 AD, it didn’t collapse them.

“In his masterwork, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, historian Edward Gibbon selected 476 CE, a date most often mentioned by historians.”
They all say 476 (Western Rome, if you can get that into your head). Guess who took over in 538?
Dude - Gibbon’s statements have been discredited as he wrote partial fiction.
This is apparent in his blame for the fall of Rome on Chistianity,
his ignorance of several primary sources that were not discovered or deciphered until later generations,
his downplaying and general dislike of the Byzantine empire, and
his belief in now discredited details such as the supposed origin of the Goths in Scandinavia.
Gibbon recognizes the East Roman Empire as the Byzantine Empire and the Empires citizens as Byzantines, labels the East Romans never called themselves (nor did anyone else in their age). He does this to distance the East Romans from the aspects of the civilization he admired and seperate post 476 (or post 299) Romans from the West. Gibbon recognizes the Byzantines (East Romans) as the inheritors of the Romans but ones who imperfectly carried the legacy. They were failures compared to their predecessors.
Gibbon wanted to link the West with Rome, linking a progression from the gilded classical age, culminating in the Enlightenment, which was escaping the influence of Christianity and benefitted from the rediscovery of classical learning. He uses some of the best English prose put to paper to make his case. His bias though caused him to miss his goal by almost 977 years. To make his case, he had to paint the East Roman Empire as religiously backward and archaic. Such was the skill in his writing that his bias basically became the bias of the West.
Gibbon accepted the idea of the Dark Ages. In fact, most Enlightenment thinkers loved the idea of the Dark Ages at least as a point of comparison. It made them look better to compare themselves to the dark past. It’s in the name for the age. Enlightenment thinkers built themselves up on the idea that they were enlightened relative to the people of the Dark Ages.
The problem for Gibbon is, there were no Dark Ages in the East Roman Empire. The Romans moved from paganism, to Christian, and then synthesized classical learning with Christianity. Gibbon proposed a narrative where barbarism and Christianity mixed with corruption of various sorts, sucking the vitality and Roman vigor from a great culture, leaving a weakened inglorious civilization behind. To Gibbon this was not just less than ideal, but a corruption of better times and a better people.
Yet, while the West struggled to find an alternative to papyrus (the cheap means of writing the West used till it lost access to it), and failed to deal with Germanic overlords, the Byzantines in the East (still Romans) continued living under Roman law, under an unbroken line of emperors (at least through 1204 when the Crusaders sacked and took Constantinople, if not 1453), preserved classical thought, and defended the rest of Europe. They merged Christian theology and classical philosophy in ways that invigorated a flagging Roman culture, one in decline long before Christianity became the dominant religion.
That did not sit well with Gibbon’s narrative. It didn’t sit well with the notion that the West, Britian in particular, were true inheritors of Roman tradition; it didn’t sit well with Gibbon’s idea that Christianity was a weakening factor on Western culture that undermined natural law. The continued survival and thriving of the East under barbarian pressure when the West fell to German barbarians, did not set well either.
Many factors led to the loss of the West in 476. Gibbon gets many factors correct, like corruption and dependency on slave culture. But, he places improper emphasis on some other causes, and others he just gets wrong. He should have placed much greater emphasis on the population decline in the West and the Empires failure to develop more major population centers in the West—concerns Rome tried to contend with for centuries but never solved. Similarly, their inability to assimilate Germanic tribes in any meaningful way that could have alleviated population concerns and reduced external pressure, was also a major issue.
Gibbons bias is, unfortunately, a legacy of inaccuracy the West still lives with. It is routinely said the Roman Empire fell in 476. This is simply not true. It lasted till 1453. In doing so, Rome saved the West many times before it breathed its last, struggling against the Turks as little more than a city state. Western Civilization courses often shift focus from Rome around 476 and give scant attention to the East Romans although they were the major power and intellectual center in Europe for many centuries after 476. Much of that bias and indifference is rooted in Gibbon’s flawed work

you probably would say Rome - but uh-uh, the capital was Ravenna.
9. ... In books of all sizes, and from the pulpit of every church, we have been taught from our infancy, that the "beast, the man of sin, and the scarlet whore," mentioned in the Revelations, were names which God himself had given to the Pope; and we have all been taught to believe of the Catholic Church, that her worship was "idolatrous," and that her doctrines were "damnable."
10. Now let us put a plain question or two to ourselves, and to these our readers; and we shall quickly be able to form a
[pg. 7]
just estimate of the modesty, sincerity, and consistency of these revilers of the Catholic religion: ―they will not, because they cannot, deny, that this religion was the ONLY CHRISTIAN religion in the world for fifteen hundred years after the death of Christ. They may say, indeed, that for the first three hundred years there was no Pope seated at Rome. But, then, for twelve hundred years there had been; and, during that period, all the nations of Europe, and some part of America, had become Christian, and all acknowledged the Pope as their head in religious matters; and, in short, there was no other Christian Church known in the world, nor had any other ever been thought of. Can we believe, then, that Christ, who died to save sinners, who sent forth his gospel as the means of their salvation, would have suffered a false Christian religion, and no other than a false Christian religion, to be known amongst men all this while? Will these modest assailants of the faith of their and our ancestors assert to our faces, that, for twelve hundred years at least, there were no true Christians in the world? Will they tell us, that Christ, who promised to be with the teachers of his word to the end of the world, wholly left them, and gave up hundreds upon hundreds of millions of people to be led in darkness to their eternal perdition, by one whom his inspired followers had denominated the "man of sin, and the scarlet whore"? Will they, indeed, dare to tell us, that Christ gave up the world wholly to "Antichrist" for twelve hundred years?

There was no sudden collapse in 476 AD. All that happened was Odoacer ( a Romanized German chieftain who held the actual power) deposed the figurehead Emperor Romulus Augustulus in that year. Odoacer had already had the power before this deposition.
Again, you quote some dude quoting errors. Have you never read the Bible for yourself, Philly? I’m not talking about the Ellen G White edition of the Bible you Adventists read, but the real bible?
There was no sudden collapse in 476 AD.
Everyone except you says 476.
“Alex, I pick “Cronos is wrong” for $1000”
Did you know that in the 8th century, Catholicos Hnanisho II was the overseer (Bishop-Patriarch) over fully one third of all Christians in the world?
Furthermore, go and read for yourself:

Your church, Cronos!
Torture, murder, rape, sodomy, (just the kind of church Christ would want, right?) No, it’s an apostate church.
Revelation 18:
3All the nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from the extravagance of her luxury. 4Then I heard another voice from heaven say: Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues. 5For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
