Folks who do a “simple palm reading” get more than they ever bargained for when that door opens.
My one experience with an ‘authentic’ gypsy palm reader was hilarious.

Maybe, I have an old friend who did that, she’s had man problems, but she’s always had man problems. The ones who seem to be at risk that I have seen are the ones who give offered items as a means to seal a magical contract. The contract with “other gods or powers” seems to be where the problems crop up. I haven’t seen the same thing with garden variety woo.
