I pretty much agree with you RWC. The fallen angels, and humans in the lake of fire, ARE defeated, they ARE banished. They will never change. Their hate and rage will NEVER cease. They will blaspheme God forever. This is why Hell continues forever, because they are still sinners, and sin continues in Hell. First the sin, then the punishment, and Hell probably does grow more intense and painful, with each passing moment, as their rage and hate grow deeper. I imagine after a few trillion eons, Hell will be pretty intolerable. 😁 They know they are in Hell, because they didn’t repent, and yet, in Hell, they still don’t repent.
I would venture to guess, that if they were offered Heaven, their hatred for God is so intense and consuming, that they would prefer to remain in Hell, rather than go to Heaven. That’s pretty perverted.
