God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power. Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet. He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.(Habbakuk 3;4-7)

There are far more accounts of the Second Coming of Messiah in the Old Testament than people realize. As we have been showing, who knew that Messiah would come up into the Holy land from Edom? Isaiah saw it. He saw that Christ would arrive in Edom and would literally go to battle in Bozrah, delivering his remnant flock of Israel.

Here Habbakuk has a vision of Christ coming from Teman, another Edomite district. The results? The total discomfiting of the “Tents of Cush” and the curtains of “Midian”. (Modern Sudanese,Somalians and Arabs). Paran is another district in the area that Christ comes through.

This underscores a conviction I have been increasingly coming to accept, that the Second Coming of Jesus is a series of events, culminating in the actual “touchdown” of Christ’s foot on the Mt of Olives in Jerusalem.

I believe Moses also saw the second coming of Messiah, and spoke of it in Deuteronomy,

And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. (Deuteronomy 33:1-2)

If this is a description of the second coming of Jesus, it means that it will follow the pattern of the Exodus, from Mt Sinai (in Arabia) into the Mt Paran district, and into Teman, then Mt Seir, into Bozrah, then on up into the Holy Land.

Isaiah presents Jesus as the Divine Warrior, making War, taking vengeance on his enemies and on those who have resisted Him and persecuted his people.

It so happens that every single nation that the LORD is said to return to and make war on, happens to be Muslim. I am not saying that the rest of the godless world will escape horrifying Judgment, because they will not, but there are specified nations,(all Muslim) whom the Lord is coming to fight and subdue.

This is the Area off Sinai, Paran, Teman ad Bozrah in Edom. Revelation 19, the ultimate picture of the second coming of Jesus, draws from Isaiah 63, and proclaims Jesus has come to “Make War”,

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. (Revelation 19:11-16)

One of the most intriguing visions of the LORD’s return was given to a pagan prophet, Balaam. This Seer was a renown pagan Prophet who made a living out of his knowledge of how to manipulate the various “gods”.

When an Arab Prince tried to pay him to curse Israel for him, he actually had an encounter with Jahweh, the True God, who strictly told Balaam not to take any money nor to curse Israel, for God was with them. But Balaam eventually was persuaded to go with the entourage the King of Moab, and even attempted to curse Israel.

But all he could do was bless them. This enraged the King of Moab, but Balaam could only bless Israel with increasingly more powerful blessings. His prophecy came in four parts, and it ranged from the conquest of the promise land, to the Assyrian invasion, and the eventual coming of Jesus,(The Star of Jacob), and all of the way to the final conflict, the AntiChrist and the war which breaks out at the coming of Messiah,

Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city. And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever. And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.(Numbers 24:15-22)

He introduced this prophecy to the enraged King of Moab, with this admonition,

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days. (Number 24:14)

Moab is mentioned,(central Jordan), so also are the children of Sheth ( Children of Chaos). Edom too is included, Seir is the capitol of Edom. The long dreaded and inveterate enemy of Israel, the Amalekites are mentioned also. Amalek was a grandson of Esau and the first enemy Israel encountered outside of Egypt. Balaam says they shall be the last.

All of these tribes have intermarried and been absorbed into the world of Arabian Islam, and all are uniting together once again, as in the story, to “curse Israel”.

Jesus is coming back as the ultimate embodiment of Israel, to fulfill these prophecies and to execute vengeance against these tribes and Kingdoms which have set themselves against him and his Holy People.

We need a disclaimer here:
“Ahem, there has been no final war. This is a figment of a guy’s mind over 2500 years ago, and cannot be treated as fact”.
