Well no I didn’t read that but I just made a rational assumption that it’s not going to be good times :-)

from what I always understood besides a very select few it is going to be a lot of suffering.

I guess sone here are very confident that they will be the first to be taken up. I am not confident at all in that regarding me.

In fact at 52 my sins are great and pretty bad through the decades and they weigh on me now.

Some are so bad that they break my back and I wonder if they can truly be forgiven

I ask forgiveness but God will decide my fate.

The Pharisee and the Tax Collector [A parable Jesus told]

To some who trusted in their own righteousness and viewed others with contempt, He also told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed,a ‘God, I thank You that I am not like the other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’

But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’

I tell you, this man, rather than the Pharisee, went home justified. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Are you a Christian? All Christians will be caught up and meet Jesus in the air, including the dead in Christ, and will be taken to Heaven, to be there with Him always. You’re either a Christian or you’re not; it’s not something you can be halfway. Everyone sins, including Christians. But we have an Advocate with the Father -— Jesus, who ever lives to make intercession for us. When we sin, we repent, then ask for and receive forgiveness. It is Jesus and His sacrifice that saves us; there is no way we can, on our own, be good enough to gain Heaven. Only the sacrifice Jesus made for us, and our acceptance of it, and of Him as LORD and Savior, cleanses us from ALL righteousness. Then, it is a daily walk with Him, running to Him for forgiveness when we sin, and triumphing over sin with His help.

The only sin that cannot be forgiven is one that is not repented of.
