For those not familiar with Iron Maiden, they're sort of a big thing.

For those not familiar with Nicko, he's kinda good.

And for those not familiar with their live setup...

This should be interesting...

It might take awhile for him to realize that at least some of this stuff just won’t work in his new life.

Man always starts on the outside - visible change.

But God works from the inside out. First, the most important thing is receiving Jesus and being eternally saved.

The rest is icing on the cake.

They have a heavy image but their lyrics and music is pretty cerebral. Nothing vile.

Anytime I hear Secret Agent Man (usually when I’m getting in to tense situations), during the chorus I sing your nick in an obnoxiously loud voice. Nobody ever gets it. Brilliant nick.

They’re a great band with a long history.

Fear of the Dark.... one of my favorite all time guitar songs.

Can I Play With Madness...

Hallowed Be Thy Name...

Rime of the Ancient Mariner...

Empire of the Clouds...

The list goes on.

Run To The Hills and Rime are my two all-time favorite Maiden songs. Something about the storytelling in those two songs captures me every time.

I’m playing Iron Maiden : Legacy Of The Beast right now. Any other players here, feel free to ping me for a slot in our Clan.

Niko and all the members of Iron Maiden are brilliant folks and have been one of my favorite bands since I first heard them in the early-mid 1980s.

Sat down at a NYC Times Square diner several years back next to a older long haired dude who turned out to be Janick Gers. Very relaxed easy chat comparing our life journeys. He is a level-headed family man. Their world tours are truly remarkable.

I totally would’ve nerded out over being around Janick. Any of the guys from the band really. They’ve been my favorite band for almost 20 years now.

Just because the tale really *could* go on, and on, and on...

- The Prisoner
- Back to the Village

Not, of course, for any particular reason. That would be telling...

Ive seen them live several times and they can play like young men for hours—Bruce Dickinson has taken exceptional care of himself and to see him jumping off tiers of speakers at his age while singing is amazing

Here’s a bit more

A great drummer from one of my favorite bands. Saw them live in 2012; it was one of those tours where they only played their older material. The newest songs in the set were from Fear Of The Dark (1992) - which meant that with their then-current lineup, no more than five of the six people on stage appeared on the studio recordings.

And as mentioned further up this thread, their lyrics are deeper than those of most other metal bands.
