It seems every day brings yet another incident creating more anguish, pain, bewilderment . . . these are emotional times. Father God, shake this country, its people, its churches back to reality . . .the reality that You are in charge of our next breath, our country’s and every individual’s future. It is especially disconcerting to witness the poor innocent children growing up in these subversive and evil times . . . children who are not being shown “the Light of the World is Jesus.” It is disheartening to find in the local obituaries these days faith not included as an attribute of the deceased. My immediate thought . . . did anyone try to reach out and witness to these individuals? And am I doing my best to share Jesus.
Father God, Please provide supernatural protection for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, their families, and those in government who are looking to you for direction and answers. Give them the strength and boldness to do the right thing. Please expose the evil ones who are leading us on a path of destruction and bring about their swift and sure punishment.
We, as Christians, know this world is not our home. I am grateful for Your forgiving me of wasted time, talents and collections of useless treasures. Help us in these end days to follow Your instruction in evangelizing the country . . . the world. Please send a great revival that cannot be contained and let it begin in our families and Your Church . . . the Church that stands for righteousness and does not cave to social discourse.
We ask for blessings for those who are sacrificing their lives to keep us safe as well as blessings for their families. Help us also do the right thing for individuals and families who are experiencing physical, financial, and emotional problems in these difficult times.
Our focus on tribulations at home has deterred our attention from current activities in the Middle East. We pray that our country will never waive in support of Your most favored nation Israel.
We thank you for Free Republic that provides an excellent opportunity for corporate prayer requests for and/or from fellow Freepers and our nation.
We don’t deserve anything Lord, but please please keep us safe in Your Everlasting Arms and give us the opportunity and the ability to share the Gospel . . . the Good News of Your Son Jesus . . . how He gave His Life for all . . . the Free Gift of Salvation and an eternity in Heaven . . . that comes by repenting of sin and acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior.

Expect God’s Sovereignty: First, we have to keep in mind God’s absolute sovereignty over everything. The more you grasp the sovereignty of God, the less you’ll suffer the stresses of life. When things seem out of control, we can remain under control by remembering Who is in control.
Expect God’s Strength: Second, instead of expecting the next bomb to drop, learn to expect God’s strengthening grace to come to you at just the needed time.
Expect God’s Providential Care: Instead of shell shock, you can also expect God’s providential care. Throughout the Bible, the theme of God’s remarkable provision recurs like heartbeats.
Expect God’s Blessings: In addition to meeting our needs, God adds His blessings. Numbers 6:24 says, “The Lord bless you and keep you.” From the fullness of His grace, He sends us one blessing after another.
Expect God’s Guidance: Finally, expect God’s guidance. We don’t know what news will come today or tomorrow, but we know God is already ahead of us living in tomorrow, and He knows how to show us what to do. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust Him with all our hearts and acknowledge His Lordship in every detail, “and He shall direct your paths. God guides us through our world of panic and politics and personal decisions. He gives us a thought, waters it with good advice, allows us to pray for His leadership and confirms it with His Word. If God can keep the earth on its orbital path around the sun, spinning at just the right speed, never wobbling, sending us day and night with precision and perfection, He can surely keep us on the right path and guide us into tomorrow.
Don’t live by fright. Live by faith. While the world is dodging bombshells, you’ll be basking in the sunshine of His sovereign strength, providential care, daily blessings and timely guidance.

God in Heaven, Let there be a revival begun in Chazturdistan, on Capitol Hill, in Seattle. Seattle originally had 7 hills. There has been a statue of Lenin there for many years. Of course they are celebrating Solstice tonight. Show Yourself mighty to them, Lord God. Send an Elijah to them. Pour cold water all over them and their sacrifices, do not let them kill anything to their idols. Convict them of their need for a Savior. Thank you for the street preacher You sent, that they abused. Let that preacher’s crown have another jewel in it. Convict them, Lord God. It would be the most unlikely place. Send a Jonah, as to Ninevah. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Revival Related Scriptures
There are many revival related Scriptures which have been prayed and pleaded through church history to see the Holy Spirit poured out; not including our Scriptural responsibilities and obligations to offer our bodies as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1) and to live holy (I Peter 1:16 and Psalm 24:3-6), to put away sin, to seek God (Hosea 10:12), to take up our cross daily and abide in the Vine (John 15) and to humble ourselves and to look to God.
The five most prominent revival Scriptures are:
‘If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land’ (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Thus says the Lord: “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; and also on My menservants and My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days” (Joel 2:28-29).
Thus says the Lord: “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your descendants and My blessing on your offspring” (Isaiah 44:3).
‘Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence…to make Your name known’ (Isaiah 64:1).
‘O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do it for Your name’s sake; for our backslidings are many, we have sinned against You’ (Jeremiah 14:7).

Indeed, You are Sovereign O Lord. Your creation and Your creatures must obey You even when You are dead in their hearts. Last night You showed us a sign of Your Sovereign power over the wicked when You sent a mob to tear down the statue of Albert Pike, one of the greatest seers and magicians of the wicked Illuminati situated in Washington DC. You showed the wicked that they are not in control. And Your servants thank-you for this sign in the midst of so much chaos, destruction, and misery.
