Are we living in the Twilight Zone? In what universe is this possible that renowned apologist Ravi Zacharias would call Arch Heretic Word Faith Teacher Joyce Meyer a "Great Teacher". All I can say is it must be so hard to be famous and a Christian at the same time. It is a sad day when one like Ravi Zacharias would compromise and endorse a false teacher like Meyer.

Oh, and it's very no class to post this on the day the man dies from cancer.
Is there anyone that meets your standard or do you always eat your own? Let a great Christian man rest in peace!

Well I am glad to know you think he was saved, because we all know that is what matters.
Heb 9:27 says It is appointed unto man once to die, after that the judgement.
You will not be that judge. I agree with the others who say posting this today is not a good idea.
Couldn’t you wait until he cooled off, for crying out loud?

Joel Osteen Warns It Is Far Too Soon To Reopen The Bible
Goodness. I would hate to see the plank in your eye.
Ravi was a great Christian man. He helped me to grow in my Christian faith. He will be missed.
+1
thank you Post 3
some have NO class
Dr. Zacharis was a great Christian apologist. Even the Apostle Paul refrained from criticizing certain teachers, even when it was obvious they were just in it for gain. He just thanked God they were preaching Christ.
Joyce is no Bible scholar, but with her practical day to day teaching, has led many people to the Lord. She cites Scripture constantly, much more than Osteen, and she is not a word of faith prosperity preacher in any sense!
I dont know how people group her in with Kenneth Copeland etc. And Ive never heard her go on and on about money at all. Ever!
Joyce Meyer? Oh good grief......she never had me as a fan but when I saw her do a “Nasty Peeloosley” plastic face (like Paula White) I says to meself, no, no NO!!! I consider vanity to be a sin....but I’m no Christian worthy of a second thought. That’s just me.....

I agree. I don’t watch Joyce Meyer any more but have been to one of her large meetings. It was awesome!
And I absolutely LOVE Ravi Zacharias and his great works.
Now Ravi is with Jesus and has no doubt heard his master say, Well Done, good and faithful servant.
What was it Ravi said about Joyce Meyer?
I don’t know if Joyce Meyer’s message has changed over the years, but every once in a while I listen to a few minutes of her show. She preaches what I call “common-sense Christianity,” in which she criticizes self-pity, gossip, laziness, and wishful thinking in favor of putting the Sermon on the Mount to practical application. I do not sense nearly as much of the “prosperity Gospel” as I do in Joel Osteen and some of the other televangelists.
I’ve looked into her background and her philosophy and do not like it. She’s self aggrandizing and her compound is huge. She pays her husband and son a tremendous salary. There’s other things but basically I do not trust her theology and her self pity all the time.
