According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.
We Pray For Our President,
And other Leaders of Our Beloved USA
May They Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

I hope you will all bear with me today. My next door neighbor, with whom I had become very friendly, died suddenly yesterday. Evidently, she aspirated on something, and there was no indication of the Coronavirus, but still the protocols had to be followed and my entire end of the Mobile Home Park was closed off with Emergency Vehicles and HAZMAT Equipment. Her poor husband, who is much older, and a heart patient, had to be taken away. I don't know if he will be able to get through this, frankly. There were several adults living in the mobile home, ALL of whom have health issues. Cora was the only one who was healthy, worked out with weights, walked daily in the park and did gardening. We had become good friends, as she was a Biker like me and loved the same things I do. She and I had planted bulbs last fall and were delighting together watching them come up. There is a lot more to this story, but I am too grieved right now to share.
Today we look at the Hebrew Worship Word kara, meaning to "bow down in worship". Many times in Scripture we read of a great Bible Hero who is hit with sudden adversity and bereavement. The reaction is that "he bowed down and worshiped the Lord." This is the reaction of one who TRUSTS that God's will is just and true, even when it doesn't seem to make sense at the time.
Please say a prayer for Cora's husband Paul, her sister Melanie, S-I-L Joanne, and the rest of her family. Thanks.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)
God Bless America!
