To presume your sins are forgiven, without using His design, is beyond dangerous.

I'm not presuming on my sins being forgiven.

I'm believing God when He says....

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus did not come to establish a new religion. He did not come to establish ANY religion.

He came to open the way to God through His atoning death on the cross.

JESUS saves. Religions and religious works do not.

If they did, then the OT Jewish religion would have been good enough as that was established by God Himself at Mt. Sinai.

Without religion YOU are able to worship the way YOU want, that is not God’s design.

Show us from Scripture.

John 4:19-24 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Jesus tells the woman at the well explicitly that true worship is not about going to a certain place, in those days the temple at Jerusalem.

This is what God has to say about religious activities without the corresponding heart change.

Amos 5:21-24 “I hate, I despise your religious festivals; your assemblies are a stench to me. Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Though you bring choice fellowship offerings, I will have no regard for them. Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!

And do you honestly think in light of that the masses offered by the sin stained hands of homosexual, pedo priests is acceptable to God?

God requires more than the outward appearance of righteousness.

Not merely ‘catholics’ as you spin it

I am talking about priests who were in their 60s and 70s, that i knew for decades

that were in charge of multiple parishes over their careers, and were held up by the church as role models and great priests.

Not just any old person in the pews

but the ones leading and teaching those in the pews

never corrected by any bishop or archbishop if they were so-called ‘confused’

Your trying to ignore the context and downplay their positions like its just some lay person who’s got it wrong, is really telling. You would fit in to scientology or the libtard media very well.

So, you “confessed your sins”. Why would Jesus tell Peter and the others, “Whose sins you forgive they are forgiven them,...”. If you can confess in a prayer, why give them the power to forgive sins? There is a certainty of forgiveness when it is done by a priest (if you are fully honest and repentant), because of Christ’s power given to them. Be warned though, “Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven:” and “Therefore I also will deal with them in my wrath: my eye shall not spare them, neither will I shew mercy: and when they shall cry to my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.” [Ezechiel (Ezekiel) 8:18]

So, Christianity isn’t a religion? So, you don’t have preachers? So, you offer bread and wine yourselves every Sunday?

All this is very chicken and the egg, because without the Catholic bishops and the Council of Nicea you wouldn’t have a Bible. They had the authority to determine the 72 books of the Bible. You, however, only have 66 books now.

As for the homo and pedo priests, their Masses are valid, however, they drink the their own condemnation, just as Judas did at the Last Supper. The Masses are still valid because it is Christ’s offering to the Father. It is the difference between the offerings of Cain and Abel, one was pleasing, one was not, Christ is always pleasing to God. Still God is not pleased by the sacrilege of the sodomitical priests, so God is moving to expell them, from the Church. Nature will revolt, wars will erupt until they are driven out and the people repent and turn to Christ’s Sacraments.

Right now there are very few public Masses being said right now, it is a warning to all, because this has not happened in the history of the Church.

“It is easier for the Earth to exist without the Sun, than it is to exist without the Holy Mass” - St. Padre Pio

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò

But if prayer is certainly indispensable, we must also not fail to fight the good fight, making ourselves the witnesses to a courageous militancy under the banner of the Cross of Christ.

Let us not find ourselves being pointed out as the handmaiden did with Saint Peter in the high priest’s courtyard: “You too were one of his followers,” only to then deny Christ.

Let us not be intimidated! Let us not allow the gag of tolerance to be placed on those who want to proclaim the Truth!

Let us ask the Blessed Virgin Mary that our tongue may proclaim with courage the Kingdom of God and His Justice.

All this is very chicken and the egg, because without the Catholic bishops and the Council of Nicea you wouldn’t have a Bible.

Hogwash.

The OT Scripture was recognized as such by Jesus Himself and He didn't need any man to tell Him otherwise.

As for the homo and pedo priests, their Masses are valid, however, they drink the their own condemnation, just as Judas did at the Last Supper.

For a religion that takes the high moral ground over others as Catholicism does, they sure cut themselves a lot of slack.

What hypocrites.

You can't be sola scriptura and then insist that you are infallibly saved. That's putting faith in something not explicitly written in Scripture.

Well, yes you can...based on Scripture.

*****

11For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”

12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

13for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

Romans 10:11-13 NASB

Where in God's Word is metmom's salvation specifically promised? I don't mean a general promise, show me where you are called out by name.

What a ridiculous argument.

It is also one devoid of the promises in Scripture on this matter.
