The Justice Department (DOJ) may take action next week against local governments that have cracked down on religious services as widespread parts of the country are shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, a DOJ spokesperson said Saturday.
While social distancing policies are appropriate during this emergency, they must be applied evenhandedly [and] not single out religious [organizations], DOJ Director of Communications Kerri Kupec tweeted.

I’m not happy. What does this mean.
Ping
? I meant a question.
It means the DOJ is going to get a grip on these governors and mayors who are shutting down church services.
I hope Baby-Faced-Beshear and Fascist Fischer get slapped extra hard by the DOJ.
The simple observation he made was that the City of Louisville has no right to shut down drive-in church services on the grounds of "public safety" when they allow business establishments like drive-through liquor stores to stay open.
The same argument is now going to be made for church services INSIDE a church. If Walmart or a grocery store can stay open with protective measures in place, then there is no reason why a church couldn't do the same.
is fisher the mayor down in greeneville mississippi?
The DOJ is trying to get in front of a raging, hanging mob.
fyi
Up next, “Non-essential” businesses.
Bears repeating:

it will be interesting to see the federal government enforce the constitutional rights on the various states.
As a Catholic, I learned a long time ago that evangelical Christians will always be stronger in defense of their faith than the misfit hired hands masquerading as shepherds in my church.
Whatever the DOJ does, it will be too late to salvage Easter. Our church in Phoenix is now totally online. The services have been good. We plan to delay our Easter service for the first Sunday when we can physically meet together.
That’s great but what about our Catholic bishops? They, not politicians, are the biggest obstacle to open churches.
Rather, I'd like to see the federal government enforce the constitutional right of all U.S. citizens.
It’s about time!!! I’m singing at an online service tomorrow. Several of us met at the church to rehearse. I told my husband I think we are committing a subversive act. It’s about time we start referring back to the Constitution. You don’t throw out principles because something happens. That’s when you need them the most.
