Lord and Savior,
mighty, mighty God, Father and Protector, we worship You!
We thank You, Lord, for protecting us and giving us another day in which to praise You and to pray for our nation and our fellow citizens!
In Your Name, Lord, we claim a victory over the evil plots and plans of the enemy. He may have quarantined or immobilized us, only to give us time to rest, to think and to pray, to be with family and to etch more clearly into our minds what is essential to our lives and what is not; what is dear about for our country and what is not. How shallow the preachings of entertainment and political figures now seem as they loll by their pools while lowly hospital orderlies and grocery clerks walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
Even as wicked old media lies continue to split the air, neighbors reach out to help, churches use new media to gather the flocks, and family and friends speak words of encouragement. We spit in your eye, Satan! Jesus goes before us! He will win this fight for those who believe.
His is the Name Above All Names! His is the Name above sickness, death, treachery, poverty, fear, loss, anxiety, contagion, danger, suffering, misery and lack. His is the Name above even the best this life has to offer: nothing compares to His glory in eternity, towards which we offer ourselves as instruments of the Holy Spirit. We claim the powerful shed blood of Jesus over every circumstance that befalls us, over our nation, and over our President, Vice President and all those loyal to their efforts to recover this One Nation Under God.
We give You thanks and ask Your blessings on all the heroes of this evil biological war: the frontline healthcare workers, food providers, mail and package delivery workers, medical researchers and developers, and the manufacturers and donors who are sacrificing boldly to meet this viral challenge. Wrestle the hearts of Congress and all who operate the levers of power in this nation and across the world to choose life over death and live up to their vows to help their fellow humans.
Expose the plotters, the profiteers, the hoarders and exploiters. If it be Your will, gracious Lord, please help the Presidents plans for new medical facilities and national security, including medical ships, field hospitals, pharmaceutical innovations, regulatory streamlining, economic adjustments, safety behaviors and cartel-busting.
We claim the Risen Christ over every manifestation of both disease and recovery, that Your power, Father God, may be demonstrated like thunder and lightning in the soul of a wayward nation. With contrite hearts, we ask Your favor towards Your remnant in America: revive our nation again, dear Lord,
To be added or dropped from this ping list, post or freepmail to stars & stripes forever.
Join us today to pray for our nation's response to coronavirus.
Amen.
Amen.
Amen!!!
Psalm 44
To the leader. Of the Korahites. A Maskil.
1 We have heard with our ears, O God,
our ancestors have told us,
what deeds you performed in their days,
in the days of old:
2 you with your own hand drove out the nations,
but them you planted;
you afflicted the peoples,
but them you set free;
3 for not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm give them victory;
but your right hand, and your arm,
and the light of your countenance,
for you delighted in them.
4 You are my King and my God;
you command* victories for Jacob.
5 Through you we push down our foes;
through your name we tread down our assailants.
6 For not in my bow do I trust,
nor can my sword save me.
7 But you have saved us from our foes,
and have put to confusion those who hate us.
8 In God we have boasted continually,
and we will give thanks to your name for ever.
Selah
9 Yet you have rejected us and abased us,
and have not gone out with our armies.
10 You made us turn back from the foe,
and our enemies have taken spoil for themselves.
11 You have made us like sheep for slaughter,
and have scattered us among the nations.
12 You have sold your people for a trifle,
demanding no high price for them.
13 You have made us the taunt of our neighbours,
the derision and scorn of those around us.
14 You have made us a byword among the nations,
a laughing-stock* among the peoples.
15 All day long my disgrace is before me,
and shame has covered my face
16 at the words of the taunters and revilers,
at the sight of the enemy and the avenger.
17 All this has come upon us,
yet we have not forgotten you,
or been false to your covenant.
18 Our heart has not turned back,
nor have our steps departed from your way,
19 yet you have broken us in the haunt of jackals,
and covered us with deep darkness.
20 If we had forgotten the name of our God,
or spread out our hands to a strange god,
21 would not God discover this?
For he knows the secrets of the heart.
22 Because of you we are being killed all day long,
and accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
23 Rouse yourself! Why do you sleep, O Lord?
Awake, do not cast us off for ever!
24 Why do you hide your face?
Why do you forget our affliction and oppression?
25 For we sink down to the dust;
our bodies cling to the ground.
26 Rise up, come to our help.
Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love.
Amen.
Amen

C O R R E C T I O NCourtesy of Tucker39, please note that there is a typo in the 3rd stanza of Revive Us Again, that should read "Who has taken our sins..."
Amen to that for sure!
Lord also thank you that President Trump is rescuing the trafficked children and rounding up the perpetrators. Let their sin not go uncovered.
LORD, please hear our prayers.

Joining in prayer, with St. Patricks prayer:
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
Go in peace.
