The words you put in your mouth and speak out of your mouth is of vital importance. The words you speak out of your mouth and hear with your ears get into your heart/spirit. That's why faith cometh by hearing. In Proverbs 4:20-23 it says attend go God's word, incline your ear to his sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart for they are life unto them that find them and health to all their flesh. The word life is translated as to revive, to nourish up, and restore life to. And the word health is translated as medicine, remedy, healing, and cure. Notice, keep the word in thine heart/spirit for they are life and health to their flesh. You see that in the case of Abraham and his wife Sarah God changed their names Abraham means-father of a multitude and Sarah mean-Princess of nations. Their names had meaning and that meaning was to be kept in their hearts by the hearing and seeing of it. God promised Abram(before the name change) that his decendants would be like the stars in the sky. But, their bodies didn't agree with that. Romans 4:19, he considered not the deadness of his body nor the deadness of Sarah's womb. Notice, that same verse says he was strong in faith. And Hebrews 11:11 says through faith his wife received strength to conceive seed and was delivered a child when she was past child bearing years. They kept hearing and speaking and hearing and speaking. And faith kept coming and coming. Until eventually they spoke out what they believed. They kept watering the seed.
The words you speak into your heart in abundance you will speak out of your mouth. And that which you speak out you will see the manifestation of it. Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure(deposit) of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure(deposit) of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Words are seeds (Mark 4:14). The heart/spirit of a man is soil (Mark 4:15). The word is also water (Ephesians 5:26). In Acts chapter 14 there is an account of a lame man that heard Paul preach and Paul perceived that the man had faith to be healed and told him to stand up and the man leaped up and walked. No prayer, no laying on of hands, no calling on the name of Jesus just him and the word or the seed and the soil. The seed found good ground and produced.
The seed of the word has to be planted and watered just like a natural seed. 1Corinthians 3:6,7 says, I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So, then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. When a seed is planted and watered it's in expectation of seeing something later. Every seed becomes something. God's word of healing planted and watered becomes the manifestation of healing. Jesus said, For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). You have to believe what you say will come to pass.
It's an act of your spirit. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. They that are in the flesh cannot please God (Romans 8:8). Notice, in Matthew 17 the disciples tried to cast out a demon and they could not and Jesus told them why. It was because of their unbelief. That demon was suppose to come out when they spoke to it. Because Luke 9:1 says Jesus gave them authority over all devils. So, what happened? You see what happened in Mark 9 verses 33 and 34 they disputed among themselves who should be the greatest. And 1Corinthians 3:3 says where there is envying, and strife, and divisions are ye not carnal, and walk as men. They couldn't do spiritual business with a carnal mind. You have to be spiritually minded. The woman with the issue of blood said, if she could just touch his clothes she shall be made whole and Jesus said her faith made her whole. The centurion said, if Jesus just spoke the word his servant would be healed and Jesus said, "As thou hast believed so be it done unto you" and his servant was healed in the same hour. Jairus asked Jesus to come and lay his hands on his daughter that she may be healed and she shall live and Jesus went with him and raised her up. All of them spoke out the healing they wanted and received it. Well, God is the same He changeth not (Malichi 3:6). And Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). They spoke theirs out what makes you think you can't speak yours out.
Sounds a lot like Positive Verbal Reinforcement.
Nobody tell today’s psychological community that The Bible spoke of it Millennia before they even thought about it.
It will crush their egotistical, (mostly) atheistic little hearts.
Name it and claim it
The Word of God. THANKS be to God!
Born again makes God’s Word come alive inside us!
Blessings..
Truth. Thank you.
There’s a lot of the ‘Name it and Claim it’ gospel out there today.....and some of it gets so emotional it looks like a Hindu Kundalini awakening rather than a Christian event.
Healing does not depend on speaking out as God gives healing to the good and the bad as He determines....and He more times than not uses the gifted Physicians and various other medical facilities He has equipped to bring this about.....
Nuts to the author!!
If that was the case, my ears would be fine, and my non-seed would have given children!
I’ve even been oil-splattered and forehead slapped by both Schembach AND DuPlantiss! Nuts to the author!!
Jesus said the exact opposite. This post is more eastern religion heresy. Name and claim it.
Name it, claim it.
Seed Faith.
A famous preacher once said - I believe in God healing people, but I don’t believe in Fatih Healers.
This is true, we must have faith, but we cannot make it happen. Recall the Disciple’s Prayer (It’s called the Lord’s prayer by some, but it was the prayer Jesus taught his Disciples to pray). THY WILL BE DONE.
lol.
Nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to speak out healing for ourselves or anyone else.
Our words do not have creative power as the prosperity gospel advocates. That *theology* is eastern mysticism with a Jesus window dressing to deceive Christians into believing that it's right and true.
This is the Scriptural prescription for healing.
James 5:14-16 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
Exodus 4:10-11 But Moses said to the Lord, "Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue." Then the Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
Speaking like this is attempting to equal ourselves to God. It is heresy at best and demonic at worst. There is nothing but God, who can speak anything into anything.
Sure we can be positive and speak truth and life. But ALL credit goes to the Father and His son Jesus Christ, thru the working of the Holy Spirit. NOTHING comes from us
That’s nowhere in the Bible.
Thank you for your service
aimhigh please show me where Jesus said the opposite. I see where Jesus said, “Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and to you that hear shall more be given.”
