Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

(Music in The Bible)

Psalm 119

Psalm 119[a]

ל Lamedh 89 Your word, Lord, is eternal;
it stands firm in the heavens.

90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
you established the earth, and it endures.

91 Your laws endure to this day,
    for all things serve you.

92 If your law had not been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.

93 I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have preserved my life.

94 Save me, for I am yours;
I have sought out your precepts.

95 The wicked are waiting to destroy me,
but I will ponder your statutes.

96 To all perfection I see a limit,
    but your commands are boundless.

New International Version (NIV)(End of Scripture Passage)

.

"Lamed"sounds like the letter "L" and comes after "K", just like in our own English Alphabet. The similarity continues for a while.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Like a Lion , Hiding,
Lying in Wait, The Wicked Seek To Harm me at Every Turn. But,
Leaning On Your Everlasting Arms, Dear Father, and
Loving You, I know I am safe.
Learning Something New Each Day,
Living In The Center Of Your Word,
Letting The Sheer Wonder of Your Glory
Lift me up and Comfort me.
Life in the Shadow of Your Wings is Beyond Description.
Let me be constantly incited to daily seek You,
Lest I slip in the way. Your Word,
LORD, Stands For All Eternity, and Your
Law Abides Forever.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our President,
And other Leaders of Our Beloved USA
May They Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

When President Trump was running in the Republican Primaries, he made a rather rash statement that alienated him from some Christians. In light of the intervening years, I'll bet this is mostly forgotten. It was something like this:

"I don't need to repent of anything!"

Since the basis of Evangelical thought is that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God, a few of my fellow Christians took umbrage and voted for the other leading Republican.

Of course, Donald Trump DID win the election and has shown an amazing amount of humility and "teachability" in the presence of fellow Christians. He has allowed people to "lay hands upon him" in fervent prayer, has asked for prayer, has boldly proclaimed the Gospel Message in his speeches, has helped religious people have freedom of conscience and not be forced to do things against their faith, and was the First American President to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel, and Address the March For Life.

The journey from "not seeing a need for repentance", and his current approach to "religion" is remarkable to say the least. While some may not like the branch of religion that he seems to have embraced, one has to admit that President Trump has ridden the wave of the "Learning Curve".

"Lamed" Is a "Cattle Prod" or a "Goad". It Represents Teaching, Goading, Pushing, Reminding, Inciting to Do Good.

The word "Limud" means "Student" or Learner.
The Word "Lamad" means "Teacher".
The Words "lekh and Lekha" mean "Get Thee Out" as in Genesis 12 when Avram when called out of Ur.

"Lo" means "NO!" in Hebrew to this Day.
It also means "Thou Shalt Not" and starts each of the Last Five of the Ten Commandments. Look at a Set of Tablets that are in Hebrew, and you can see it.

It is the 12th Letter.
12 Tribes of Israel.
12 Months in the Solar Year.
12 Notes in the Chromatic Scale
12 Original Apostles

Yes.
The “Rod” is a symbol of correction,
and
The “Staff” is symbolic of leadership.

“Lamed” is a symbol of both.
