The former Archbishop of Karaganda in Kazakhstan, Jan Lenga, has been banned from preaching and celebrating Mass by the Polish Church for describing Pope Francis as the antichrist and refusing to include him in prayers.
"Canon Law empowers the local diocesan bishop to take disciplinary steps which might halt the spread of scandal among the faithful," Fr Artur Niemira, chancellor of the central Wloclawek diocese, said in a statement to Poland's Catholic Information Agency, KAI.
"Archbishop Lenga is to refrain from delivering sermons and publicly conducting the liturgy. This same ban also applies to contacts with the media."
The ruling was made public following a series of declarations by the 69-year-old retired Ukrainian-born archbishop, a member of the Marian order, who quit his Kazakhstan see in 2011 and now lives in an order house at Lichen in central Poland, by arrangement with the Vatican.
The KAI agency said Lenga had "issued controversial claims undermining the authority of the reigning Pope Francis, and refusing to name him during Masses". It added that the ban on public appearances had been imposed by Bishop Wieslaw Mering of Wloclawek and would remain in place until further restrictions were announced by the Vatican.
In May 2019, Archbishop Lenga co-signed a 40-point "Declaration of Truths" opposing aspects of the Pope's teaching, alongside the American Cardinal Raymond Burke, the Polish-born Archbishop Tomasz Peta of Astana in Kazakhstan, and the retired Polish-speaking Cardinal Janis Pujats of Latvia.

I don’t think Pope Francis has anything near the level of support that Pope John Paul II did. The Antichrist is supposed to be really really popular.
More than anything else I believe that this Pope is in need of prayers for God to draw him closer to Himself. That’s a prayer nobody could argue with whether you like the Pope or not.
It does seem reasonable for the Church to say the guy can’t represent the Church if he is claiming that the Pope is the Antichrist. Im not sure how a chain of command could move forward with something like that going on.

Is it reasonable that this pope can represent the Church when he worships pagan idols (Pachamama), denies the existence of Hell, denies the divinity of Jesus Christ (while He was on earth), supports homo "civil unions", praises abortionists (like Emma Bonino), declares Communists have stolen the christian flag, declares God wills the plurality of religions in union with a muslim imam, etc?
Dope Francis is a Deep State useful idiot. Soon after his meeting with Obama, he embraced the marxist agenda. I believe Obama threatened to exposed his record of pedophilia
in exchange for his falling in line with the globalist/marxist agenda.
God is more powerful than the Pope.
Also, praying for the Pope to be drawn into a closer orbit with God is both a truthful and good thing to do as well as offering a contrast between God’s ineffability and one man’s weakness when he tries to make deals with the devil, as Pope Francis has certainly shown himself to be prone to doing. The Bishop should focus on what the problem is rather than calling the Pope names, IMHO.

Erdogan might be in a position to avert a global crisis. Pope Francis seems much more likely to cause a global crisis. The Roman Catholics are not going to be the cause of any global crisis anytime soon. They are the ones who will listen to him. Islam is a far younger religion that has not worked out the kinks yet. There are still plenty of adherents willing to do horrible things in the name of religion. Erdogan would be in a position to talk them down. Pope Francis wouldn’t.

All the more reason to hold Pope Francis up to the standard set by God by praying for the Pope to be drawn closer to God and His will. It’s a contrast that Pope Francis comes off the worse for having been made.
God loves us all, including Jorge Bergoglio, but God does not abide sin. Stand on God’s Word. The Bishop made himself much too easily dismissed by calling the Pope names.

The very least Francis could be doing is raising theological questions on the assertions made in the Islamic codex which denies free will in their code of observance and behavior known as Sharia. Plays with suppressors of the faith.
Francis continuing destructive confusing pontificating on temporal worldly social behavior,which has nothing to do with and avoids articles of faith and morals. Then rebukes or restrains contemplative religious orders to favor such behavior. Thus reassuring Islamists acceptance of a false creed.
By refusing to question and expound on the profound differences with the claims made by Islam and its followers By reaching out to and defend what Judeo/Christian beliefs are. Or challenge the claims that Islamist make they are following God’s command using deceit and deception when they ruthlessly murder and torture non believers and destroy their edifices .Simply because of its assertion of being monotheistic. Then when Francis winds up making a point of honoring it and placing islam on an equal level because of that claim. Is leading to misguided conversions. Which is the result of my so called Pope playing games with this so called mono theistic cult and is creating a serious fractures within Christianity and The Roman Rite .
