Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Shalom! Today's Letter, Zayin, is the Equivalent of the English "Z", but is pronounced "Tz" in Hebrew. It's Original Picture was a Weapon, and the Letter STILL Looks like a Sword or an Axe. It has many layers of Meaning. The Word of God IS a Two Edged Sword. It cuts Right To The Heart of Things, Doesn't It?

So, as we read and meditate upon Psalm 119, one stanza a day, we can see how even the letters of the alphabet are metaphors for the Word of God. We have see a letter that looks like a fishhook, a letter that looks like a door, and today, a letter that looks like a war club. We will see even more in the days to come!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

For those of you who prayed for my neighbor Marie on this thread, here is an update:

Marie was the lady who accompanied me to the Messiah Singalong just before Christmas (the one that was CANCELLED) and I featured the story in this thread.

Some days ago, Marie was rushed to the hospital with internal GI bleeding that almost killed her. She needed a huge transfusion, and lots of prayers.

She had injured her back and was taking Ibuprofen for pain. Evidently the ordinary OTC medication irritated the lining of her stomach so much that she almost “bled out”.

Anyway, she came home from the hospital today and looks much better. I am going to check in on her later, but I wanted to thank you ALL for your prayers!
