I assume Kobe had life insurance. So I'm curious how this would work. After all, he was officially dead so presumably they'd pay out. Couldn't this guy just raise Kobe and then have Kobe give him the life insurance settlement?
Also have to assume this is a time-sensitive offer. Once the funeral home gets ahold of the body and "processes" it, I'm not sure Kobe would want to be brought back to life in that state, let alone later once decomp starts.
Maybe that's how the zombies start off? People dilly dally on raising the dead and inadvertently cross the zombification threshold.

Since Kobe is worth $600 Million, I guess he can ask his wife, Vanessa if she will consent to this. Heck, they will “only” be worth $540 after Kobe is raised. Fair exchange
But this negotiation would have to include Gianna.

Prophet Nigel asserted that without the 10% offer, there was no way he could bring the man and his daughter back to life because that was the instruction given to him by God Himself. Sorry buddy. Oral Roberts tried that one and it didn't work for him either.

Heck, I can do it for 9%. But you have to pay me the money and then close your eyes for three days to give me a head start. :)

"Hey, Prophet Nigel, why not just go ahead and bring Kobe back without worrying about a family commitment of payment."
The publicity related to raising the dead (and the future resultant business) will be worth much, MUCH more than a mere $50 mil.

There’s a Twilight Zone episode in there somewhere.

Rod Parsely, Steve Munsey, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn and a lot more of his fellow preachers are really upset over this - because they didn’t think of it first.

Wouldn’t they be living dead? My offer, take it or leave it, is for 1% i will not raise them from the dead.

If you are raising people from the dead, you will make plenty on YouTube.
Plus, you would be considered, by some, to be a demi God.
But, if you can do it—don’t brag about it. Do it. And it doesn’t have to be Kobe. Just take a team of reporters to your local city morgue. Pick someone, have them obviously dead. And the resurrect them.
Then you can go into the Kobe business.
To: RoosterRedux
He can’t do that, the “lord” told him he had to get the money first.

Post 37. True and obvious.
Kind of like someone saying I can transmute lead into gold, but I wont prove it until someone pays me up front.
But of course, if you could do it you would just do it and have the gold.
Or like someone selling books that contain stock market prediction techniques. But if they have such techniques, why not just use them instead of selling them?
