Well, the serpent was more crafty than any of the other beasts of the field... I guess his craft was haberdashery.

Reminds me of a story.
Muddy Waters, the Blues Master, was performing at a Blues festival and he had to introduce the next act when he was finished.
The next act was FOGHAT, a rock and blues band.
He did not know their proper name or was given a mispelled cue card, but he introduced them as THE FROG HATS!
They were back stage cracking up! And had to wait a minute or so to get themselves together before they went on stage...............
