Sad but very true!
Strange feeling isnt it ?
I had Emergency Surgery a few years ago for a Ruptured Intestine. Had I not already been in the Hospital I would be dead.
I had an out of Body experience where I was on the ceiling looking down at Myself on an Operating Table, strapped down, IV lines and Intubated. There were 5 Docs in scrubs talking about what Organs they would be Harvesting !!!
Ceiling Me was screaming at them NO, IM ALIVE !!! IM ALIVE and then I wasnt up at the Ceiling anymore.
Nobody said anything about Me Coding or anything like that but I did get some strange looks from a few Medical People. I really need to get a copy of My Records so I can check out the Surgery Notes.
Ive also got a spot on My neck that looks like a very large bore IV Needle was there at some time and I know it wasnt there before I had that Surgery.
They had Me in an Induced Coma for 2 weeks after I thrashed around and tore My internal stitches and they had to go back in to repair that !!! I remember being strapped down at one point and I asked if the Nurse would take off the straps so I could stretch and she said sorry but I cannot do that.
sometimes it seems you spend more time inside the hosp than out
Matthew 27:5153
Many people don't understand what you are asking. They look at you puzzled.
My friend of 60 years was doing a Dog Agility class and dropped dead as he staged his retriever. In the audience was a Doctor and a ER nurse who rushed to him and started CPR plus the Fire department was nearby and had a new piece of equipment and used it on him. This was 12 years ago and I now see him 3 times a week. He is now developing some dementia but still gets around. God is Great!
Yeah it does seem that way.
They should give out Points or Recreational Drugs like Airline Frequent Flier Miles or something.
It was My 1st time at this one. Went there because the Wound Clinic I was going to was in the same Group so I went there because My recent info was up to date and in the System. Plus it’s the other direction from the STUPID TOLL ROAD MESS THAT IS NOW “IN USE” even though nobody uses the damned thing so it’s one empty lane and two Stop & Go lanes. The toll to go to charlotte is like $20 each way (30 miles each way) STUPID politicians lining their pockets...
This Hospital was really nice, Procedures happened quickly unlike most that take 3/4 to 1.5 days. These Folks had it down to hours or less.
The Anistisiaologist sure knew how to “throw a Party for the Patient with just the right Cocktail mix” It was like what we were always trying to achieve back in to 60’s and 70’s ;) The Kalideiscope was impressive but Without the Hangover...
Everybody was nice and Professional.
The Food Service was excellent both in quality and promptness. Had everything (ham,cheese,mushroom,red/yellow/green bell peppers and onion) Omelets, English Muffin, Assorted Fruit Yogurts and Milk or Hot Chocolate several days in a row. I even tried the Biscuits and Gravy- Impressive fluffy Biscuits and scratch Gravy that was Perfectly Seasoned. Had Turkey Breast, Dressing, Mashed Taters & gravy, assorted veggies for Lunch and Dinner 3 days in a row because it was that good. Chocolate Pudding and Assorted Fruit Bowl.
The 1st night I missed Dinner so the Nurse went to the Kitchen to round something up for Me. She came back with a Grilled Chicken Breast on a bun, Carrots, a bag of Baked Lays Potato chips. I jokingly said “What, no Desert ?” She laughed and said that She would go look around. I told Her I was joking as She walked out the door. I’m eating away when She comes back in a says “This was all I could find” and sets down a slice of Cheesecake with Cherry Sauce on top !!!
But there’s still no place like Home with My Sweetheart and the Dogs in My bed with TV I’m used to. And no Vitals and Vampire Lab runs every 4 hours.
I remember that story, saw it in some documentery a while back.
The Boy kept talking about Tim (IIRC) His Ship, Buddies and being shot down. He would draw pictures of being shot down and crashing into the ocean. He remembered all kinds of details. Finally Dad started to research the Ship Name and the Crew Roster and found that things matched up.
My point, which I think was evident to many, was that near-death experiences do not constitute actual-death experiences.
Nothing in my post argued against your point.
And you know all of this to be true because?
I’ve never met or heard of anyone who (except in the Bible) had been dead for a few days and came back to tell about it. Have you? And that’s why I don’t believe near-death-experienced people actually have been dead.
almost like a a Holiday Inn
