Wednesday, January 1, 2020: Creation and the New Year
Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
Hebrews 10:39, "But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved."
Hebrews 11:3, "By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not not made out of what was visible."
The verse is both comprehensive and scientific, viewing space ("the heaven") and matter ("the earth") as functioning in a framework of time ("In the beginning"). This space / matter / time "continuum" that scientists call it has not existed eternally, nor is it still being created. The idea of an eternal existence and continued construct are both heretical standards of all forms of evolutionary pantheism. Most of the world's religions and philosophies, ancient or modern, follow that mindset. Everything was created and all that creation completed.
Look at our world today, right now; the overwhelming decay, destruction, hatred of man against man, ethnic group against ethnic group, and nation against nation. Continuous outbreaks of plagues, diseases, famine, turbulent weather changes, increase of earthquakes, volcanism, floods, wildfires, animals attacking people.
It's not "global warming" or "climate change "; it's our once-perfect created planet that was plunged into darkness by mankind's rejection of God long ago, unleashing the evil of sin upon earth. And Earth has been in a constant state of decline ever since!
Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Earth was created on the third day.
You have received wisdom to contemplate and make use of this creation in a good way, during the short span you have in this life.
Love the discussion of time.
So difficult to process at times but so elementary at the same time for any one seeking the Kingdom as a child.
Ezekiel 46:1 gives the template Israel is/was to follow with regards to ‘time’, as humans perceive it.
1 New Moon Day
6 Work Days
1 Sabbath Day
And Genesis 1:1 and the beginning is absolutely being represented and commemorated every month on His New Moon Day.
And the new covenant scripture hints the Word, which was in the beginning,became flesh on one of those ‘New Moon Days’..
Something about a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet.
Science can show us that this happens in early fall nowadays in His heavens. A little earlier in year a couple thousand years ago.. and that sign seems to fall around the beginning of a ‘month’ if one tells time using His heavens to tell time,like Genesis reads.
Interestingly, there are at least three ‘new year’s’ depending on how one tells time.
Babylonian- January 1
Moses- New Moon Day of 1st month (1st day of month-spring)
Noah- New Moon Day of 1st month (1st day of month- fall)
Amazing picture unfolds if one can be set free from the world and its systems to look into ‘time’ and its depiction of His work and plan on an elementary A-B-C, 1-2-3 way..
Every month on the God of Abraham’s Calendar starts with a special day that points to His beginning.
And to His Son. The Word Made Flesh. Who was in the beginning.
Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1.
No wonder Satan tries to get the world to tell time using the sun only and not the Son.
Not sure the Jews and Muslims who seek out the new crescent every month would appreciate the significance of what that means to the Messiah of Israel , but believers in the Word Made Flesh could teach them.
Some of Satan’s big lies would start to crumble.
And the Truth would set people free.
But Babylon would start to fall..
And all that is going to happen on His time.
According to His plan. And His timekeeping.
Which He controls whether we tell ‘time’ like today’s Babylon or like Moses or like Noah.
In His Kingdom, ‘today’, as detailed to Ezekiel, is/was a work day. The fourth day actually.
A day that commemorates His creation of the sun, moon and stars. They were to be for signs, and appointed times and days and years.
Babylon considers today false god Odin’s day, January 1st.
A ‘holy day’.
Babylon having a holy day when the Father says work.
Babylon working when the Father says rest.
About sums up the entire condition of the world.
Including the religions of the world.
Praise the Lord, because of His Word we can all receive wisdom and strength to do all things that He requires of us, and then rest for our souls.

Trust Him
Love Him
Read His Word
Pray always
Preach the Gospel (the Good News of Jesus Christ)
Praise Him
Listen to His voice within you (the Holy Spirit)
Rest in His Love.

It’s pretty awesome what I’ve learned by reading the Bible and also from information on Creation Apologetics via the Institute for Creation Research materials. They are true men and women of God and through every article point to Scripture that verifies the truth of Creation through the spoken Word God.
I’m sure they have many articles posted on their website at ICR.com about time, space, matter, as I have copies of their free publication “Acts & Facts” that I’ve read. Some of the material is way over my head mathematically, but they go to great lengths to explain equations and formulas and really take you to school again!
Yes, that’s correct; and what I read in Genesis, the beginning of Creation was over a period of 6 full, actual nights and days, and on the seventh day God finished Creation and rested—not that the Almighty God needed rest, but to create a day of rest for all of creation.
Wrong time of year. Ro’sh HaShanah is the anniversary of the sixth day of creation, from which all history is dated. Jan. 1 is just an arbitrary date.

Over our heads is right.
And the education I receive is an almost unlearning first- to be taught anew.
If one can count to 22, or the Hebrew aleph bet, they have three weeks every month of ‘time’ that sums up His work of Creation, Redemption and Conviction of the world.
And each month,He has three weeks that commemorate His work of Justification (we can call it Redemption), Sanctification (we can call it Conviction) and Glorification( a future time with glorified bodies).
For the hard math that you reference that is over our heads,He allows some of us small sheep to learn basic math and counting. And it all ends up in the same place.
His Word is Truth and We have a Creator and Redeemer that lives!

I’m looking into studying the Aleph-Bet with the website called “Akhlah - The Jewish Children’s Learning Network”; looks easy enough for a Hebrew newbie and I’d love to learn Hebrew so to understand the Word of God better.
I’m more than happy to stay with basic math myself; the folks at ICR look to have the higher math well in check as the Lord blesses and leads them.
