I think we will find that these people aren’t even writing this stuff. It’s just handed to them by people who have been spying on them to make sure there is no Russian collusion in their affair with the babysitter or the wife’s alcohol related hit and run.
In one sense my call for his removal was on the order of hyperbole in this regard: the odds of that happening by election or by the Senate are actually probably fairly slim at this point,
He is a liar to boot.
Whether or not the Senate will agree with the House was not anywhere part of his opinion piece and it has no relevance to the rationale he gave that Trump should be impeached.
He is trying in the dumbest possible manor to try to back track a bit on what he said. He’s just a plain and simple Progressive liar.
He got the HEADLINES that he needed.
Sure would be nice if Christians could figure out a way to have their MAIN PUBLICATION (I believe) reflect Christian Values.
...or am I asking too much?
almost all vote are for the lesser of 2 evils....
would this moron want sanders?
Biden?
Hillary?
everyone knows that Trump is a deeply flawed individual but he’s also been the best president in my lifetime....all he’s doing is giving ammunition to people that would be 10 times worse for any of his positions.
I wonder if Mr. Galli realizes that there is such a thing as the Ninth Commandment, Thou shalt not lie.
Is this guy being coached by Adam Schiff or what? “It was hyperbole”...really? How about a metaphor? Humor maybe? Give it up! Call it what it really is..political propaganda.
The Dude is dumb as a box of rocks.
It seems to me that he threw a hand grenade in the room as he was walking out the door. I don’t follow CT, so have no idea how far out of line this was with their usual politics, but it seems irresponsible to leave editorial content to one man to write, edit and publish without any review at all.
Now, how do they recover? Publishing a counter-editorial saying impeachment is wrong and their former, long time editor was an idiot? That will look just as bad. They are likely going to lose a lot of subscribers over this. If I owned CT, I’d be talking to lawyers about suing Mr Galli.
Its a real problem. Leftist lowlifes have infiltrated many churches. Its painful but decent Christians must undertake a ruthless purge of the infidels. It must start with the Catholics.
From Mark Galli:
“I knew that Karl Barth, arguably the greatest Protestant theologian of the 20th century, had a decades-long affair with his personal assistant, Charlotte von Kirschbaum....
...As the author of the recently released Karl Barth: A Biography for Evangelicals, I was anxious to read the latest revelations about the relationship. I had briefly discussed it in the book, noting the pain it caused his wife, Nelly, especially when Barth not only admitted to his wife his love for Charlotte but also insisted that Charlotte move into the family home to help him with his workload. Based on the work of Barth scholar George Hunsinger, I tried to set the relationship in the context: A younger Barth had fallen in love with a woman his father forbade him from marrying; his marriage to Nelly was in some sense arranged. So Barth was an emotionally lonely man....”
“Barth’s theology found its most sustained and compelling expression in his five-volume magnum opus, the Church Dogmatics (Ger. “Kirchliche Dogmatik”). Widely regarded as an important theological work, the Church Dogmatics represents the pinnacle of Barth’s achievement as a theologian. Church Dogmatics runs to over six million words and 9,000 pages one of the longest works of systematic theology ever written....” - Wiki on Karl Barth
Galli wrote a book about “the greatest Protestant theologian of the 20th century”, who could write 6 million words dissecting God, but who brought his mistress into his home to live with him and his wife.
Maybe Galli isn’t big on real Christianity. Most Anglicans are not.
It’s called folding like a cheap suit.
“Too late, Luthor. Too late.”
Like a lot of publications of its type Christianity Today was firmly grounded scripturally when it was founded. When Billy Graham stepped back to focus on his world wide ministry later in life it began to falter almost immediately.
The Trump Curse strikes again.
“I’m retiring in a few days...” I wonder when that decision was made. Yesterday?
Namely with our anti-Pope. Im seriously considering leaving the Church because of that leftscum.
haha, someone stepped in the poop on the sidewalk and didn’t like it...
As St. Paul wrote,
"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst." 1 Timothy 1:15
“...that his call for evangelical Christians to support impeachment was hyperbole,
ESAD Mark...NOT hyperbole.
Exactly my thought.
