Our Lady was said to have appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal.
We, at St. Cecilia grade school, were given brown scapulas to wear around our necks. Scapula = A simple medallion made of wool.

God doesn’t need magic tricks and fancy gimmicks to have us believe in him.
He can do it if He wants to. He’s God.
If one doesn’t feel God in his heart and see Him all around us then God could make fire hydrants get up and start walking and singing “That’s Life” and it wouldn’t change that person a bit.
I don’t need to put my fingers in Jesus’ hands.

So if our salvation comes via faith (in Christ), how do we come to faith?:
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” - Romans 10:17
Not by magical talismans, not by supernatural manifestations from unknown sources, but via extraordinary grace extended to us by God as a result of our faith in Jesus and our acceptance of his free gift of salvation, having paid the debt for our sin on the cross. And we come to that faith by hearing the word of God, his gospel message preached according to scripture.
Putting our faith in dubious supernatural manifestations is just asking to be deceived. During Jesus ministry on Earth, he rebuked those who sought signs and wonders, and we are warned that false prophets and false signs and wonders will come, and that we must exercise discernment by testing them against scripture to see if they are of God.
Satan is the great imitator- imitating miracles to deceive the masses- of course there are no true supernatural miracles performed today, ie the dead arising on command, restoring lost limbs with nothing but a word- etc- but Satan still does imitate things like visions, signs etc- to deceive the masses-
And yet He also told the Jews, “If you don’t believe my words, at least believe the Miracles, that you may know that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.”
