While you have been out playing church, and downloading all the tracks from satanist Kanye Wests Jesus Is King album, the leader of the worlds largest religion, Pope Francis, has been brazenly bold and open about furthering his plans for the One World Religion of Chrislam. On November 18, Pope Francis stated that the only thing standing in his way of seeing his Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together covenant being realized are those nasty, scourge fundamentalist Bible believers who keep exposing him. I took it as a compliment.
"In todays precarious world, dialogue among religions is not a sign of weakness. It finds its own raison d'être in Gods dialogue with humanity. It is about changing historical attitudes. A scene from The Song of Roland comes to me as a symbol, when the Christians defeat the Muslims and put them all in line in front of the baptismal font, and one with a sword. And Muslims had to choose between baptism or the sword. That is what we Christians did. It was a mentality that today we cannot accept, nor understand, nor can it work anymore. Beware of the fundamentalist groups: everyone has his own. In Argentina too there is a little fundamentalist corner. And let us try, with fraternity, to go forward. Fundamentalism is a scourge and all religions have some kind of fundamentalist first cousin there, which forms a group."
Except he never said that. It appears that the article said that, but not Bergoglio. Having said that.....I think, when it comes to Bergoglio, he doesn’t like any stripe of fundamentalist who disagrees with his agenda.
“.. is he saying that Protestantism needs to be abolished?”
Nah. Francis has Chrislam allies in a number of alleged Protestant congregations. Rick Warren gives the appearance of being one despite his denials.
Yep...that is correct regarding the article. The quote from your pope does not say that. The article is deceptive in that regard.
Though the implication certainly is there.
Roman Catholicism does accuse "Bible only" (aka sola scriptura), and that is a hallmark of a fundamentalist, Christians as somehow being wrong.
As you claim to be a “protestant”....do you participate in the Roman Catholic mass?
This is what having a globalist/communist/POS Pope looks like.
Funny, he says nothing like this about Islam
When Pope Benedict was elected, he said [’Pray for me that I do not flee for fear of the wolves.’] So, is it fear? Or the fact that Pope Benedict’s secretary also happens to be Jorge Bergoglio’s secretary?
That sounds like a non-answer to me. Why does he remain silent? Where there is a will, there is a way, no?
Hes the leader of the Catholic Church. Like it or not
It says all you need to know.
If the Catholics had anything left theyd get rid of this guy
But its like the moderate Muslims. Where are they after the Islamic terror yesterday ?
Nowhere
Kayne West is Satanic? It’s hard to take anyone seriously that makes that claim.
In other words, the Pope's opinion of Fundamentalist Bible believers is exactly the same as that of every other Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Nestorian, regardless of where he might be on the political spectrum.
During the few years I spent in the Catholic Church, the Catholic publications pummeled "Fundamentalism" constantly while promoting historical criticism and evolution (you know, like "St." Fulton J. Sheen and "St." John Henry Newman). In fact, Catholic Digest seemed to be more worried about Jonah's great fish than they were abortion.
This is what you anti-Fundies get. Happy now?
Untrue. Some Fundamentalists, such as Primitive Baptists, absolutely refuse to proselytize at all, because they feel everyone is already saved or lost from the beginning and nothing can be done to change it. There are also Fundamentalist Primitive Baptists who are universalists.
3) Logical explanations and scientific evidences have no place in these belief systems if they work against their religious fundamentalists.
Oh, you mean like how Catholics believe in the virgin birth, resurrection, real presence, miracles, etc. despite them all being scientifically impossible?
4) For fundamentalists, religion dictates every sphere of their daily lives,
So he's attacking Orthodox Judaism? After all, it's a totalitarian system that regulates every single facet of life, including having a blessing to recite after relieving oneself.
5) and they also attempt to involve the entire society into their own belief system, often by the use of force.
When has any stereotypical American low church Fundamentalist Protestant ever done such a thing??? They don't even baptize their kids, fcol!!!
I know these aren't your opinions, GBA, but someone is telling a bunch of whoppers.
I think I remember that Rome tried this; a few centuries back; starting in Spain.
No one expected it.
It was unsuccessful then.
I doubt it can do any better in the future.
Oh...
Wait...
Since the term, Christian Fundamentalist is mostly used to describe low-church Protestants (Primitive Baptist, Assembly God,various Pentecostals) is he saying that Protestantism needs to be abolished?
.........................................
No, his ridiculous remarks are based on his hatred for traditionalist Roman Catholics almost all of whom condemn the heretical assault by the Second Vatican Council upon the teachings and liturgical traditions of Tridentine Catholicism.
I dont want to get too judgmental about the Pope. If he is fundamentally Peter, then my fear of God guess is that dissing the Pope is not a good long term plan, and thus my caution.
The article lists a possible outline/definition and, if it is close to what the Pope is thinking, then you have eliminated many groups just by using their definition.
In other words, if thats his definition/outline, too, then hes not talking about them, so theres no point in their being offended.
The article lists the temperance movement as one US example, but I was also thinking of the Protestant/Catholic battles and bombings in Ireland that I grew up hearing about.
I think Fundamentalist thinking is the reason for the separation of church and state in the Federalist papers? Not sure about that.
None the less, could we see a show of hands for who first thought of islam as THE fundamentalist group being most violent and wanting to convert or kill the unbeliever?
Sounds like force so me and their book encourages that sort of thing.
Jesus? Nope. Far more subtle ... He warns us that the measure by which we measure shall be used to measure us.
Uh oh ...
It’s not like I ask Pope Benedict myself. I can only guess based on clues, same as you.
Is Pope Benedict permitted to leave the Vatican?
Actually, now that I think of it, he did speak out against Bergoglio several months ago, but it was understated, and I have not heard of anything since. He bypassed regular channels if IIRC.
The last Pope, indeed. Without immediate intervention, this satanic false Pope will leave the RCC in tatters.
