Naw ... LDS theology teaches that Almighty God is the Father of our Savior Jesus Christ .... pretty much what the Bible says.

...although an unbaptised Constantine helped change the Christian Godhead into one with a three-way personality disorder (three-in-one, one-in-three, sometimes-three-but never-one, sometimes-one-but-never-three).

Mormons also beleive that Almighty God is the Father of our Savior Jesus Christ .... pretty much what the Bible says.

...unlike most Christian Churches that believe that God has a a three-way personality disorder

(three-in-one, one-in-three, sometimes-three-but never-one, sometimes-one-but-never-three).

So .... are your beliefs include the ‘unbiblical’ Nicene, Apostolic and Athenasian Creeds, which say that:

God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are merely multiple personalities of God’s mental disorder?

.... and that God the Father is not really the Father, but is Jesus Christ and also the Holy Ghost? (one-in-three, three-in-one, always-three-but-never-one, always-one-but-never-three, ...repeat ad nauseaum)

Sounds pretty crazy .... I prefer the LDS Biblical definition: Almighty God is the Father of Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior.

...

“Mormons also beleive that Almighty God is the Father of our Savior Jesus Christ .... pretty much what the Bible says.”

“Pretty much” is not identical.

The Trinity:

1 John 5: 7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Jesus Christ The Son is God, and the only way to God.

John 14:6

“6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. “

I apologise, my mistake.

Thank you for taking the time to find the reference. I do domb mistakes like that often. The reason I was pushing so hard is that there are some here that read something with a reference and they repeat the reference as if it were there work, having never seen the referenced materal.

You posted the verse in Revelation that ssys we cannot add to the Bible.

Since there is one just like it in the early part of Old Treatment, why do we have anything past Deuteronomy?

Deuteronomy 4

2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Well, long before the advent of either of these 'theologies', the various cultures of the world had many others; and they were often effective and useful to sustaining, inspiring, and bringing the people forward in spiritual awareness. (The ancient Egyptian, Greek, Hebrew religions, contained profound philosophical truths.)

I don't think I'm in a position to judge how others should believe - I can't know which religious system or mythology might optimally activate the spiritual principle in another person. I assume that God has His own way of accomplishing that.

Any religious text read absolutely literally can produce extremists, and often dangerous ones. I frequently find myself falling into the advice of the Sallustius who wrote, regarding religious systems and mythologies:

'Now these things never happened, but always are'.

Checkmate.

The Oneness of God and Christ are in purpose .... Not a deified multiple personality disorder!

In John 17. Christ clarifies what his oneness with God is as he admonishes his disciples ‘to be one’, even as he and God are one.

John 17, 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Sorry ... you somehow distort the Bible to believe that God has a three-way multiple personality disorder.... and then you call my religion weird?
