[Barf Alert] Prefect for Communication comments on theft of statues from Rome church

“We have already repeated several times here that those statues represented life, fertility, mother earth.

With the above statement, the idiot comes right out and admits the statues are pagan idols. Francis surrounds himself with such apostates.

Excellent analogy.

About 35+ years ago, I heard a priest explain why going into an abortuary and disabling a suction abortion machine is not morally wrong, nor a crime against property.

He said that "property" literally means what is "proper" to a person, what he possesses particularly and has the legitimate use of. Inasmuch as there is no legitimate use for a suction abortion machine, it is not "property" at all.

He said that like a strategic nuclear weapon, an abortion machine has no legitimate use and has no right to exist --- the possible exception being, as a display in a museum of crimes against God and humanity.

The application to pornography is pretty direct.

The application to the Pachamama idol is perhaps not quite so exact, but the case is made stronger in that

(1) It functions in a Church setting as a sacrilege, a violation of the First and most important commandment ---one comparable to the Fifth Commandment, "Thou shalt not kill," inasmuch as the killing is spiritual and arguably more serious than physical killing, and

(2) Pachamama is apparently now --- in 21st century --- the patroness of the cocaine industry, just as "Santa Muerte" is patroness of the Mexican drug cartels.

Would you, Marchmain, be opposed to Santa Muerte being honored in a Catholic church?

I think that anyone who thinks that Assisi, the Koran Kissing, the Buddha statues, prayer alongside Moslem prelates while facing Mecca in a mosque, etc was due to naivete or is Catholic in any way shape or form.... is naive themselves.

Francis is not an island unto himself. His Vatican II predecessor-religionists were truly precursors. I do hope that those whose eyes have been opened regarding Francis will eventually see this.

I have often thought that Francis' predecessors, John Paul II and Benedict XVI --- although they had their flaws and shortcomings, like all popes ----left us copious writings (especially Veritatis Splendor, Familiaris Consortio" and "Caritas in Veritate), which clearly express the Deity of Jesus and His unique, singular, and irreplaceable identity as Savior of the World.

Pope St. Pius X warned us about the dangers of Modernism - “the synthesis of all heresies.” Pope Paul XI got rid of the Oath Against Modernism and it’s been downhill ever since. Jesus said, “By their fruits you shall know them.” The fruits since then have been totally rotten: loss of faith, loss of vocations, closing of churches, and now this. Prelates bragging that they have not, and will not Baptize new Christians. And that they won’t even try to Evangelize!

How anyone can think that Bergolio is the Pope is not using the brain God gave him/her. Benedict XVI is still alive, the St. Galen Mafia bragged about getting rid of him and installing Bergolio, and Bergolio has excommunicated himself by numerous statements of heresy.

But be of good cheer. Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart will triumph as she promised at Fatima. Hopefully, sooner rather than later!
