I would not be overly confident of how the US would fare in a war that impacted the US. Too many people don’t have the depth, patriotism, or skills to cope with hardship. If the grid went down or necessities disappeared, how many people would fall apart in just a few days?
As much as I would hate to admit it, I agree with your assessment.
We’ve been coddled as a society for way too long to understand real hardships.
People have meltdowns nowadays in basic traffic jams.
Imagine logistics and power shutdown for days or weeks!
