Whenever God does ANYTHING in this world, He is opposed and hated. Anything at all. If God makes His mark, here on Earth, either the Devil tries to wreck it, or Satan inspires his children to do so. This disdain for all creation and any constructive thing is an anti-Logos, pernicious spirit of ruin. This deep brand of hate is a religious way of thinking, and this feeling can be as shallow or go as deep as it wants. The hate I’m talking about can be a subtle inclination, or it can be an overt obsession. For example, you can be either a Soviet-minded Bolshevist, or you could simply be a vandalizer—you’re serving the Evil Cause in some capacity.

I was prompted by all the hatred towards Trump and Trump supporters to do a vanity about hate, and how it is part of our heritage. Hate has helped us win battles against our enemies, so it is a vital part of who we are. The one who hates the most is the winner, so it becomes part of us. And how can we change that?

Was Satan a winner? He's in Hell.
Being hated is nothing special. Near everybody’s hated by someone. Arguably, Muslims are much hated on Freep. It’s what being the object of that hatred makes you into in response that matters.
Hate properly directed is Godly.
Psalms 97.10 You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner.
There are similar verses throughout the Bible.

Satan is evil but he is not in Hell.
Satan was cast down from Heaven and now resides on Earth.

If Satan was in Hell how would he tempt Jesus on the mountain top?
Matthew 4:8-11 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan ! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ “ Then the devil left Him.”
Satan won’t be cast in to Hell until after the Second Coming. For now he and his fallen angels are free to influence the affairs of men. He couldn’t do that from Hell.

Plenty of Catholics practicing their faith in California where I live. Very active folks.
By no means did I intend to say that the Church was dead.
Those that practice their faith in the open are brave souls. Those that fight evil in the open (protest abortion clinics) are soldiers of God.
But I don’t think that the followers of Satan have ever been stronger and the vicious attacks on the followers of Christ are in the open and brutal. Many followers of Christ have been cowed into silence.
Many attend church every Sunday and live in the shadows the rest of the week.
If the Blessed Mother is in Heaven, how could she appear at Fatima and Lourdes?

Based upon that principal, all Catholics should have joined the Reformers, since they were severely attacked, ridiculed, and subverted by Rome and pagans, yet simultaneously became fruitful and have spread worldwide - with much martyrdom.

And finally, here in North America, we had the Protestant English, who in their perpetual protest against apostolic authority, saw fit for 300 years to wage physical and cultural war to drive out the Spanish and French Catholics from this realm, clearing the field to make way for a Hebraic -Puritan oligarchy that we now know as the United States.

Obedience to the pope required RC rulers to exterminate all those she declared were heretics (which I think many TradCaths would like to do, or at least censor them), and thus, among other worthy reasons, many colonies opposed Catholicism obtaining a foothold.
Yet in contrast to Catholic countries such as Spain, it was here in America that Catholics obtained freedom of worship, and even predominated in many areas (now liberal), in a country that established separation of church and state. And Catholics also argue that the Revolution was wrong.
And so here we are. I was looking for the True Church, and I have found it.

For the only one true church is the body of Christ, (Colossians 1:18) to which He is married, (Ephesians 5:25) the "household of faith," (Galatians 6:10) for it uniquely only and always consists 100% of true believers, and which spiritual body of Christ is what the Spirit baptizes ever believer into, (1Co. 12:13) while organic fellowships in which they express their faith inevitably become admixtures of wheat and tares, with Catholicism and liberal Protestantism being mostly the latter.
