Oh beautiful and wonderful Father God, You give us direction, mercy and grace. We are in awe of our personal relationship with You, but Lord, we intercede on behalf of this nation.

His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him – though He is not far from any one of us.

Oh Lord, as a nation we are retreating from You.

Isaiah 59:1-2

Lord, lead us to repent as a nation. Lead us to seek restoration in You.

Our nation is in need of You.
We are blessed that You heard our prayers and presented a warrior to fight for us.
We pray he will do Your will in eliminating the moles which make the foundation of this nation highly unstable.

Please give him the necessities to erase Socialism,
Satan’s curse, from this world.

As always, we pray for our brethren, ill
and injured, that they be healed in spirit, mental,
and physical health. “He calls them by name”

‘The will to pray is the essence of prayer’ wrote Thomas Merton, and ‘the secret of prayer is a hunger for God’.
Stephen Cottrell describes himself as ‘an experienced beginner’ at prayer who has never got much beyond this, but says his long apprenticeship has taught him that the beginning and end of prayer is the longing to know God and to be known by God.

But for many people profound questions remain.
Is God really listening?
Does what we pray affect what God does?
Also, why is it that everyone struggles with prayer; shouldn’t it be easy?
Stephen Cottrell will reflect on what prayer is and how we might begin, or begin again, to pray more authentically.

The Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell is the Bishop of Chelmsford.
He has written widely on evangelism, spirituality and discipleship, and is the author of numerous books including How to Pray: Alone, with Others, at Any Time, in Any Place (Church House Publishing, 3rd edition 2010).

That the demonic entities wreaking havoc in our government, culture, media, and day to day life in this country be cast out in the name of Jesus. And for all the damage done to be replaced by evidences of God’s victory over our sins instead.

Praying for Saul-to-Paul conversions in the lives of those with the most hardened hearts — especially among people of influence or future influence in a leadership capacity.
