Your patience with us has to be running thin . . . a nation You gave the command to evangelize but now has missionaries from foreign lands witnessing to our very own. We have strayed so far away from You, desensitized to evil, and currently the world’s largest producer and exporter of the most vile.
We know that all the state and federal laws are for naught unless they are in line with Your Word, and under Your Authority. It is only until we begin obeying and serving You that we can experience the true freedom of peace, prosperity, and happiness as a nation.
Deviant behavior is becoming the norm in the United States and Your Word describes exactly what happens to those individuals and nations who turn from righteousness. We stand guilty and condemned for our wicked ways. Father God, we pray for forgiveness and mercy.
Poor exercise in judgment by our elected leaders threatens our nation’s founding ideals. Entities of our society including the churches are being corrupted as our nation "keeps company" with the devil. Your Holy Word clearly tells us that You will not continue to bless nations that no longer trust You or obey Your laws. Please give legislators the boldness to stand for truth especially when in the minority.
We pray that President Trump’s and Vice Presidents Pence’s decisions in leading our nation are a direct result of their continuing unending faith and trust in seeking Your Wisdom and Direction. We ask for a hedge of protection for the President, Vice-President and their families and all who are standing for righteousness. Please guard our defenders of freedom: the military, ICE, border guards, undercover agents, law enforcement, and truth seeking and defending media.
Heavenly Father, as children go back to school, please provide safeguards against curriculum and practices that are in opposition to Your Precepts.
May You find our country in never-ending support of Your beloved Israel. Quash any anti-Semitic rhetoric in our country.
Please send a great Holy Spirit-led revival to America that cannot be contained and direct us in being effective testimonies . . living, breathing billboards . . for Your Glory.
