The 22-year-old woman, who was being punished for having pre-marital sex, was among three people who were publicly whipped 100 times

There are certain crimes for which a public whipping would not especially bother me. This aint on that list. This is barbaric.
Punishment seems a tad extreme. That said, there is no law against self-control.
