the reference to Daniel 9:27 — which Jesus refers in Matthew 24:15-16 is explictly his prophecy that the people living in Jerusalem in 69 AD should flee to the mountains when the 10th legion came — AND The Christians did listen to Jesus - they fled to Pellas in the mountains and NOT a SINGLE Christian died in the sacking of Jerusalem as they had already fled.
