It must be comforting to be so confident that one can sit in judgement of other people in a diner.
In my religion there was something about a speck in my eye, but a log in yours.
Of course if you keep reading it tells you how to judge.
No where in Scripture is that forbidden. In fact we are told how to judge, what to judge and then what to do.
In my religion there was something about a speck in my eye, but a log in yours.

Good point.
And here is another thing to ponder - Does your “religion” also caution that you should not cast your pearls before swine, lest they turn on you and attack the Gospel and you?
That has got to be the most misused verse in the Bible, usually employed by liberal Christians to provide cover to a variety of aberrant behaviors and/or heresies. Jesus was not telling us not to judge at all, but merely warning not to do so hypocritically. On the contrary, the Bible is full of directives to judge, and to judge rightly. What do you think discernment, i.e. testing the spirits is all about? And thats merely one example.
Wrong is wrong and Christians can still call it out, using the Bible as the reference.
Most Christians can spot an apostate a mile away like this Gentleman who wrote the article.
Too bad you can’t...
The text continues.(paraphrased big time)...”remove the beam from your eye then make RIGHTEOUS judgement(help remove the speck)”....so to make any judgement one must be clean of their sins and not sin in judgement
Judgement is not outlawed but the standard is very very high...just sayin....
.
If people don’t want to be judged they could keep their mouth shut ln public.
