The worst thing about it is that many liberals, including many so-called Catholics, agree with her. Never mind that they wouldn’t dream of ever using “free will” as the basis for giving anyone a legal pass on plenty of other stuff (gun ownership, tobacco use, labor laws). Their religion isn’t Christianity but rather some warped therapeutic deism, i.e., “There is a God, but he doesn’t impose any rules on me. He just wants me to do what I want to do and never be burdened with anything, and if an abortion helps me do that, God is fine with it.” That’s the way they think.
Free will is not excuse for murder.
Otherwise we all can just start murdering people because they are inconvenient to us.
