It’s important in such discussions for Western Christians to guard against dictating to non-English speaking persons what word or words they should use in their own languages to refer to God, particularly if the Westerners weighing in have no knowledge of the languages or cultures they’re critiquing.

There is only One God. The Arabic word for God (transliterated into English) is Allah. It literally means “The God” and to misuse it in vain is equivalent to misusing the English word “God” in vain.
